Հարբուխի և մրսածության  դեպքում մենք առաջինը խմում ենք կիտրոնով թեյ։ Սակայն դա չի կարելի անել։ Այս «դեղամիջոցը» հատկապես վտանգավոր է  երեխաների համար։

Երկար ժամանակ համարվում էր, որ մրսածության դեպքում լավագույն միջոցը կիտրոնով թեյն է։ Սակայն դա կարելի է համարել արջի ծառայություն։ Եթե հարբուխը կամ վիրուսային ինֆեկցիան ուղեկցվում է  նաև ջերմությամբ, ապա կիտրոնով թեյ ուղղակի չի  կարելի տալ հիվանդին, հատկապես երեխային։

Բարձր ջերմության ժամանակ գերօքսիդային թթվայնության ռեակցիաները ուժեղանում են, ինչի արդյունքում արյան մեջ գլյուկոզայի մակարդակը կտրուկ ընկնում է։ Հիվանդին օգնելու համար ավելի լավ է  նրան տալ քաղցր ըմպելիք, կոմպոտ։  Հաճախ ջերմության ժամանակ երեխաների մոտ առաջանում է  սրտխառնոց, առաջանում է ացետոնեմիկ սինդրոմ հենց այն պատճառով, որ նրանց տալիս են թթվային ըմպելիք, օրինակ կիտրոնով թեյ, այլ ոչ թե քաղցր ըմպելիք կամ ուտելիք։
