Տնային պայմաններում մազերը ներկելու համար մասնագետները խորհուրդ են տալիս ընտրել մազերի «հարազատ» գույնից ոչ ավելի, քան 1-2 տոն տարբերվող երանգ: Հակառակ դեպքում արդյունքը շատ ավելի հեռու կլինի այն երանգից, որը պատկերված է ներկի տուփի վրա: Նաև հաշվի առեք, որ մազերի գույնի կտրուկ փոփոխության դեպքում դուք , ամենայն հավանականությամբ, ստիպած կլինեք օգտագործել կոսմետիկայի բոլորովին այլ երանգներ, քան նախկինում, երբեմն էլ` ամբողջությամբ փոխել զգեստապահարանի պարունակությունը:

Ժամանակակից ոճաբանները նախապատվությունը տալիս են հնարավորինս բնական երանգներին: Գլխի վրա կապույտ, կանաչ և ալ «փետուրները» մնացել են անցկալում: Ինչպես նաև «արհեստական» շիկահերները: Ներկի երանգն ընտրելիս շատ կարևոր է հաշվի առնել մազերի կառուցվածքը, աչքերի և մաշկի գույնը: Համընդհանուր կանոն. որքան բնականից մուգ են մազերը, այդքան տաք պետք է լինեն այն երանգները, որոնցով ներկում եք:

Բաց գույնի աչքերով և ճերմակ մաշկով կանանց համապատասխանում են սառը տոների լուսավոր (օրինակ` մոխրագույն), կարմրավուն երնգները և սև գույնը:

Բնական շիկահերներին, դեղձի գույնի մաշկով պեպենոտ կանանց դուր կգան ոսկեգույն, պղնձագույն և շականակագույն երանգները:

Մուգ աչքերով և սևուկ կանանց կհամապատասխանեն տաք գույները. մեղրագույնից մինչև դառը շոկոլադի գույնը:

Եթե աչքերը բաց են, իսկ մաշկը` արևահարված, լավ կլինի դիտարկել դարչնագույնի տարբեր երանգները:

Եթե մաշկի երնանգը վարդագույն է, ձեռնպահ մնացեք մազերը ոսկու գույներով ներկելուց. մաշկը հիվանդագին դեղին կդիտվի: Նույնը վերաբերում է նաև կարմիր երանգներին:

Սև մազերը տեսողականորեն մեծացնում են, այդ իսկ պատճառով այս գույնը խորհուրդ չի տրվում միջին տարիքի կանանց, ինչպես նաև նրանց, ովքեր մաշկի խնդիրներ ունեն (պզուկներ, սպիներ):

Շեկ, սև, ճերմակ, ինչպես նաև գանգուր և երկար մազերը դժվար են ներկվում: Ցանկալի երանգն ստանալու համար կարելի է ներկելու ժամանակը 5-10 րոպե երկարացնել:
