Մարտի 17-18-ին Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանի հետ բնակիչների հարց ու պատասխանի ժամանակ հնչեցված բոլոր հարցերի շրջանակում գերակշռում էին քաղաքային տրանսպորտի վերաբերյալ հարցերը: Երևանի բնակիչներն ահազանգում էին քաղաքային տրանսպորտի անմխիթար վիճակի, իսկ որոշ դեպքերում էլ մայրաքաղաքի մի շարք թաղամասերում երթուղիների ավելացման, մետրոյի նոր կայարանների բացման, տրոլեյբուսային ցանցի վերակառուցման, ինչպես նաև երթուղային տաքսիների անմխիթար վիճակի ու կենտրոնական փողոցների ծանրաբեռնված երթևեկության մասին:

Քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը հարցերից մեկին պատասխանելով, նշել է. «Քաղաքային տրանսպորտը ոչ թե մասնակի փոփոխությունների կամ վերանայումների, այլև համալիր փոփոխությունների անհրաժեշտություն ունի, և այս հարցը մեր օրակարգում է։ Առաջիկայում սպասվում է տրանսպորտի հիմանահարցի կարգավորման հայեցակարգի ու մոտեցումների մշակում, ինչը, պատրաստ լինելու դեպքում, կներակայցվի հանրությանը: Մոտեցումները ներառում են վճարման միասնական համակարգի ներմուծում քաղաքային բոլոր տեսակի փոխադրամիջոցների համար, տրանսպորտի հստակ գործող չվացուցակ և «ջի-փի-էս» համակարգերով համալրված ավտոբուսներ, քաղաքացիների սպասարկման կանոնակարգեր և այլ մոտեցումներ, ինչը երևանյան ներքաղաքային տրանսպորտի վիճակը կբարձրացնի միջազգային մակարդակի: Իսկ առայժմ առկա տրանսպորտային համակարգով արվում է առավելագույնը, որպեսզի մեր բնակիչների տեղաշարժը քաղաքում հնարավորինս անվտանգ և ապահով լինի»:

Ինչ վերաբերում է մետրոպոլիտենի նոր կայարաններ կառուցելուն, քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը նշել է, որ մետրոյի ցանցի ընդլայնումը մեծ ձեռքբերում կլինի, սակայն դա բավականին թանկարժեք գործընթաց է և պահանջում է ահռելի ներդրումներ: Քաղաքապետը նաև հավելել է, որ քաղաքային իշխանությունը բանակցում է տարբեր միջազգային կառույցների հետ և արդյունքների մասին բնակիչներին լրացուցիչ կտեղեկացվի:

Տրոլեյբուսային ցանցի վերակառուցման և արդիականացման հետ հետ կապված հարցերին պատասխանելով էլ քաղաքապետը նշել է, որ այդ ուղղությամբ բանակցություններ են տարվում ՎԶԵԲ (Վերակառուցման և զարգացման եվրոպական բանկ) հետ, ինչի շրջանակում արդեն իսկ պատվիրվել է իրագործելիության ուսումնասիրություն, որի արդյունքներով պարզ կլինի նաև անհրաժեշտ ներդրումների չափը, ինչպես նաև անելիքների հնարավոր ժամանակացույցը:

Հիշեցնենք, որ ս.թ. մարտի 17-18-ին քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում Երևանի բանակիչներին հրավիրել էր հարց ու պատասխանի և 24 ժամում ավելի քան 300 հարց էր ստացել:
