Ֆրանսիական leprogres.fr-ն գրում է. «Այն ժամանակ, երբ Լիոնի թեմը ալեկոծվում է մանկապղծության հերթական դեպքի առնչությամբ, մեկ այլ նմանատիպ դեմք է գրանվում, այս անգամ Հայկական եկեղեցում եւ վերջինիս բարձրաստիճան կղերականներից մեկին` արքեպիսկոպոս Դավիթ Սահակյանին, ով իր մահկանացուն կնքեց այս շաբաթ 81 տարեկան հասակում, Decines տարեցների տանը:
Տուժողը որոշել է խոսել 2013 թ. հուլիսի 22-ին և բողոք է ներկայացվել Դավիթ արքեպիսկոպոս Սահակյանի դեմ, որով վերջինս մեղադրվել է սեքսուալ ոտնձգությունների եւ բռնաբարության մեջ, որոնք իրականացվել են 1990 թ. Երուսաղեմի Հայկական վանքում, որտեղ պաշտոնավարել է բարձրաստիճան կղերականը: Տուժողը, որ այդ ժամանակ եղել է անչափահաս, 13 տարեկան, հավաստիացնում է, որ հարկադրված օրալ սեքս է կատարել Դավիթ արքեպիսկոպոս Սահակյանին եւ ենթարկվել է այլ սեռային բռնությունների:
2015 թ. Հունվարի 22-ին Դավիթ արքեպիսկոպոս Սահակյանի դեմ ներկայացվել է մեղադրանք եւ հարուցվել քրեական գործ: 2016 փետրվարի 22 ամբաստանյալ Դավիթ արքեպիսկոպոս Սահակյանին ներկայացվել է մեղադրական եզրակացություն եւ գործն ուղարկվել քրեական դատարան` մինչեւ 15 տարեկան անչափահաս երեխայի հանդեպ իշխանություն բանեցնելով եւ անօգնական վիճակը շահագործելով սեքսուալ ոտնձգություն իրականացնելու մեղադրանքով:
Առաջիկայում սպասվում էր դատավորի որոշումը դատաքննությունը սկսելու վերաբերյալ, սակայն բարձրաստիճան կղերականի մահը կարծես թե կանխարգելեց այս սկանդալի հանրայնացումը: Սակայն տուժողը, որի անունը Հրայր է, որոշել է խոսել այս մասին, ինչը, ինչպես նշում է Հրայրի պաշտպան փաստաբան Բուվիե Մը-Լե-Բերը, պայմանավորված է այն հանգամանքով, որպեսզի հետագայում նմանատիպ դեպքերը կանխվեն ժամանակին:
Տեղի հայ համայնքը տարակուսած է, հատկապես, որ բարձրաստիճան եկեղեցականը շատ է ճամփորդել եւ Լիոն է վերադարձել միայն տաս տարի առաջ:
Ֆրանսիական պարբերականը չի կարողացել կապ հաստատել Դավիթ արքեպիսկոպոսի փաստաբանի հետ: Տուժող կողմ ճանաչված Հրայրը, ով ծնունդով Լիբանանից է, 13 տարեկանում, 1990 ուղարկվել է Երուսաղեմի Հայկական գիշերօթիկ դպրոցում ուսանելու իր անապահով ընտանիքի կողմից, որպեսզի նաեւ պատսպարվի պատերազմից:
Սակայն պաշտպանության փոխարեն նա անցել է դժոխքի միջով:
Հրայրը մեղադրել է նաեւ երկու այլ բարձրաստիճան եկեղեցականների Երուսաղեմի հայկական վանքից, որոնց կողմից ենթարկվել է սեքսուալ բռնությունների մինչեւ իր 19 տարեկան դառնալը: Միայն 2009-ին է երիտասարդը կարողացել հոգե-վերականգնողական բուժումից հետո վերադառնալ նորմալ կյանք եւ 2012-ին սկսել ուսանել հոգեբանություն Թել Ավիվի համալսարանում:
Սակայն ամբողջ այս ժամանակահատվածում նա միշտ ցանկություն է ունեցել բարձրաձայնելու այն, ինչի միջով անցել է:
Ֆրանսիացի ընկերների միջոցով էլ 2013-ին իր բողոքն է ներկայացրել երեք բարձրաստիճան կղերականների դեմ. Նրանցից մեկը Արմեն Ջունդուրյանն է, որ հայտնաբերվել է Իսրայելում, իսկ երկրորդը գտնվում է Բրազիլիայում, որտեղ հնարավոր է արդար դատաքննություն չիրանացվի տեղի հովանավորչական գործոնների ադեցությամբ:
