Առաջին փուլը սեռական ցանկության փուլն է՝ մարմնական ձգողականությունը: Այս փուլում օրգանիզմը արտադրում է մեծ քանակությամբ սեռական հորմոններ՝ տեստոստերոն և էստրոգենոմ:
