Կոստա Ռիկայի բնակիչ Մանուել Բարանտեսը 19 մ խորության վրա ստորգետնյա տուն է կառուցել իր ընտանիքի համար, ինչի վրա ծախսել է 12 տարի:

Ինչպես նշում է The Daily Mail-ը, փորման ողջ աշխատանքը Բարանտեսն արել է ինքնուրույն` հասարակ գործիքների միջոցով:

Տղամարդու խոսքով՝ ստորգետնյա կացարանն իրեն անհրաժեշտ էր արտաքին աշխարհի աղմուկից ու թոհուբոհից փախչելու, մեկուսանալու համար:
