Վերջին շրջանում Ռուսաստանում մեծ ճանաչում գտավ «Красная королева» սերիալը, որը նկարահանվել է ռուս հայտնի մոդել, մանեկենուհի Ռեգինա Զբարսկայայի կյանքի հիման վրա։ Մանեկենուհուն անվանել են սովետական Սոֆի Լորեն։ Իր ժամանակների համար համարձակ եւ գեղեցիկ՝ նա միշտ եղել է թե հիացմունքի առարկա, թե քննադատությունների թիրախ։ Մինչ օրս հայտնի չէ, թե ապագա աստղի ծնողներն ովքեր էին, որտեղ է ծնվել, եւ արդյուք սերիալում ներկայացված իրադարձությունները ճշմարիտ են, թե ոչ։

Նրա կյանքի մասին հայտնի է 17 տարեկանից՝ երբ նա եկավ Մոսկվա ու համալսարան ընդունվեց։ Շուտով գեղեցկուհուն նկատում է նկարիչ-մոդելյեր Վերա Արալովան եւ նրան հրավիրում Մանեկենուհիների տուն՝ աշխատանքի։ 60-ականներին Ռեգինան այնքան հայտնի էր, որ նկարահանվում էր ոչ միայն սովետական, այլեւ եվրոպական այլ հայտնի ամսագրերում։ Ֆրանսիացիները նրան անվանում էին՝ «Կրեմլի ամենագեղեցիկ զենքը»։

Հայրենիքում նրան Ձնե թագուհի էին անվանում։ Մոդելը ինքնամփոփ էր, ոչ ոքի հետ մտերիմ չէր, նրան խիստ գոռոզամիտ էին անվանում։ Սակայն ամբողջ խնդիրը նրա չստացված անձնական կյանքի մեջ էր։ 60-ականների սկզբին Ռեգինան ամուսնացավ հայտնի նկարիչ Լեւ Զբարսկու հետ։ Նրանք երջանիկ էին այնքան ժամանակ, մինչեւ մոդելը հղիացավ։ Ամուսինը պահանջեց, որպեսզի նա աբորտի դիմի։

Բացի այդ, ամուսինը սիրուհի ուներ։ Շուտով Զբարսկին լքեց կնոջն ու ամուսնացավ դերասանուհի Լյուդմիլա Մակսակովայի հետ, ով որդի ունեցավ նրանից։ Այս հարվածին Ռեգինան չկարողացավ դիմանալ ու հայտնվեց հոգեբուժարանում։ Բուժումից հետո մոդելն իր մեջ ուժ գտավ ու կրկին պոդիում վերադարձավ։ Սակայն նա արդեն անվերադարձ կորցրել էր «թագուհու» իր տիտղոսը, ոչ մի կերպ նախկին կարգավիճակին չէր վերադառնում։ Շուտով նրան առաջարկեցին հավաքարարի աշխատանք Մանեկենուհիների տանը, ինչը նրան կրկին դեպրեսիայի մեջ գցեց։ Ռեգինան կրկին հայտնվեց հոգեբուժարանում։

1987 թվականին՝ 52 տարեկանում Ռեգինա Զբարսկայան ինքասպան եղավ։ Նախկին «թագուհու» թաղմանը ոչ ոք ներկա չէր․․․․
