Եվրոպայի Հայ դատի հանձնախումբը չի հաստատում, որ Բրյուսելում պայթյուններից հետո հայ երիտասարդ է շարունակում անհայտ կորած մնալ: Հանձնախմբի մամուլի պատասխանատու Պետո Դեմիրճյանը «Ֆեյսբուք» սոցիալական ցանցի իր էջի միջոցով պարզաբանում է ներկայացրել` նշելով, որ ՀՀ դեսպանատան թեժ գիծը (+32.2.3484406) զանգ էր ստացել, որ 2 մարդ կորած են, սակայն ավելի ուշ նրանք գտնվել են, իսկ պայթյուններից հետո հայ երիտասարդի անհայտ կորած լինելու մասի ն լուրը հավանաբար նույն լուրի մեկ մասն է: «Բրյուսելի հայ համայնքին խնդրում ենք տեղեկությունների առկայության դեպքում դրանք փոխանցել»,- գրել է Դեմիրճյանը:

Մարտի 22-ի առավոտյան երկու պայթյուն Է որոտացել Բրյուսելի օդանավակայանում: Պայթուցիկները գործի են դրել մահապարտ ահաբեկիչները: Երրորդ պայթյունը որոտացել Է մետրոյի «Մալբեկ» կայարանում՝ գնացքի վագոնում: Ահաբեկչական գործողությունների հետեւանքով զոհվել Է առնվազն 34 մարդ, վնասվածքներ են ստացել մոտ 230-ը: Բելգիայի վարչապետ Շառլ Միշելը պայթյունները որակել Է ահաբեկչական գործողություններ: Բրյուսելում կատարված ահաբեկչական գործողությունների պատասխանատվությունն ստանձնել Է «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորումը: Բելգիայում պահպանվում է տագնապի չորրորդ աստիճանը: Մարտի 22-ին դադարեցվել էր հասարակական տրանսպորտի աշխատանքը, Բրյուսելի օդանավակայանը հետաձգել էր բոլոր չվերթները:

Բելգիայի Թագավորությունում Հայաստանի դեսպանությունը բելգիական կողմի հետ ճշտում է` արդյոք ահաբեկչության զոհերի և վիրավորների շրջանում կան ՀՀ քաղաքացիներ կամ հայազգի անձինք: Դեսպանությունը մշտական կապ է պահպանում Բելգիայի կառավարության համապատասխան օղակների հետ` հետագա իրավիճակը պարզելու նպատակով:
