Թեդ Քրուզն աջակցություն Է ստացել նախկին մրցակցից՝ Ջեբ Բուշից

Տեխասից սենատոր Թեդ Քրուզը, որը ձգտում Է Հանրապետական կուսակցությունից առաջադրվել ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահի թեկնածու, աջակցություն Է ստացել նախկին մրցակցի՝ Ֆլորիդայի նախկին նահանգապետ Ջեբ Բուշի կողմից, որը Սպիտակ տան համար պայքարից դուրս Էր եկել փետրվարին, տեղեկացնում Է«Արմենպրես»-ը:
«Թեդը հետեւողական, սկզբունային պահպանողական Է, ով ցույց տվեց, որ կարող Է միավորել կուսակցությունը»,-հայտարարել Է Բուշը, որը ֆավորիտ Էր համարվում ընտրարշավի սկզբում:
Ի պատասխան՝ Քրուզը CNN հեռուստաընկերությանը տված հարցազրույցում վստահություն Է հայտնել, որ Բուշը «կարող Էր գերազանց կերպով համալրել վարչակազմը», եւ վստահություն Է հայտնել, որ ինքն ի վիճակի Է Հանրապետական կուսակցության կողմնակիցների լայն կոալիցիա ստեղծել եւ Հիլարի Քլինթոնին պարտության մատնել նոյեմբերի 8-ի նախագահական ընտրություններում:
Մարտի 22-ին Քրուզը հաղթանակ Է տարել Յուտայի նահանգում Հանրապետական կուսակցության կուսակցական ակտիվիստների ժողովներում՝ այդ նահանգից 40 պատվիրակների ձայն ստանալով կուսակցության ազգային համագումարում, որտեղ հայտարարվելու Է նախագահի պաշտոնի կուսակցության թեկնածուն: Նրա հիմնական թեկնածուն՝ Դոնալդ Թրամփը, հաղթանակ Է տարել Արիզոնայի նախնական ընտրություններում՝ ստանալով այդ նահանգից 58 պատվիրակների ձայն:
Այժմ The New York Times թերթի հաշվարկներով Թրամփն ունի համագումարի պատվիրակների 739 ձայն, Քրուզը՝ 465, Օհայոյի նահանգապետ Ջոն Քեյսիկը՝ 143 ձայն: Նախագահի պաշտոնի թեկնածու առաջադրվելու համար հավակնորդին անհրաժեշտ Է կանխապահովել համագումարի պատվիրակների 1237 ձայն, համագումար, որը հուլիսի 18-21-ը տեղի Է ունենալու Քլիվլենում (Օհայոյի նահանգ), հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
