Մարտի 24-ը Տուբերկուլոզի դեմ պայքարի համաշխարհային օրն է (World Tuberculosis Day): Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության որոշմամբ օրվա ընտրությունը պայմանավորված է 1882թ. գերմանացի միկրոկենսաբան Ռոբերտ Կոխի՝ տուբերկուլոզի հարուցիչը հայտնաբերելու մասին հայտարարությամբ: 1993 թվականին Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպությունը տուբերկուլոզն անվանվել է ազգային աղետ, իսկ մարտի 24-ը հռչակել Տուբերկուլյոզի դեմ պայքարի համաշխարհային օր:
Տուբերկուլոզը վարակիչ հիվանդություն է, որը տարածվում է, երբ վարակակիր անձի կողմից արտաշնչած բակտերիաներն օդի հետ միասին ներշնչում է այլ անձը: Հիվանդության հիմնական հարուցիչը տուբերկուլոզի միկոբակտերիան (Mycobacterium tuberculosis) է:
Ախտանիշները տարբեր են` կախված վարակված օրգանից: Թոքային տուբերկուլոզի դեպքում հիմնական ախտանիշներն են խորխարտադրությամբ (երբեմն արյունային խորխով) ուղեկցվող հազը, հևոցը և ցավը կրծքավանդակում: Առկա են նաև ընդհանուր ախտանիշներ, ինչպիսիք են երեկոյան ժամերին ջերմության բարձրացումը, գիշերային քրտնարտադրությունը, քաշի կորուստը, ախորժակի բացակայությունը, հոգնածությունը և մկանային թուլությունը: ՄԻԱՎ-ով ապրող, ինչպես նաև այլ պատճառներից (օրինակ` շաքարային դիաբետ, կամ իմունաճնշիչ բուժում) ընկճված իմունային համակարգ ունեցող մարդկանց շրջանում տուբերկուլոզով հիվանդանալու ռիսկը շատ ավելի բարձր է:
Տուբերկուլոզը դեռևս մնում է վարակիչ հիվանդությունների ցանկում և բազում մարդկային կյանքեր խլում: Ամեն տարի տուբերկուլյոզով աշխարհում հիվանդանում է շուրջ 9 միլիոն մարդ: Եվ յուրաքանչյուր տարի խլում է 1,5 միլիոն մարդու կյանք:
Տուբերկուլոզը, որպես հանրային առողջապահական համաշխարհային խնդիր, արդիական է նաև Հայաստանի Հանրապետության համար: ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարարությունը ՀՀ կառավարության կողմից հաստատված «Տուբերկուլոզի ազգային ծրագրի» շրջանակում իրականացնում է միջոցառումներ, որոնք ուղղված են դեպքերի վաղ հայտնաբերմանը, ախտորոշմանը, բուժմանը` ներառելով նաև հիվանդության դեղակայուն ձևերը:
Մասնագետները նշում են, որ տուբերկուլոզի դեմ պայքարի ազգային ծրագրի շրջանակներում իրականացված միջոցառումների արդյունքում վերջին տարիներին Հայաստանում արձանագրվում է տուբերկուլոզի համաճարակային իրավիճակի բարելավում: Մասնավորապես, նվազել են հիվանդացության ցուցանիշները: Հայաստանում 2015 թվականին առաջնակի հիվանդների թիվը կազմել է 845 (2014 թվականին` 1046 դեպք, 2013 թվականին` 1070, 2012 թվականին` 1125):
Պատասխանատուները նշում են, որ մեր երկրում տուբերկուլոզի բուժումն իրականացվում է բացառապես պետպատվերի շրջանակներում, դեղորայքը նույնպես անվճար է հատկացվում:
