Ֆուտբոլի աշխարհի 2018թ. առաջնության որակավորման փուլում Հայաստանի ազգային հավաքականի մրցակիցներ Լեհաստանի և Ռումինիայի ընտրանիները հաղթանակներ են տարել ընկերական խաղերում:

Լեհաստանի հավաքականը սեփական հարկի տակ նվազագույն հաշվով առավելության է հասել Սերբիայի ընտրանու նկատմամբ: Միակ գոլը հանդիպման 28-րդ րոպեին հեղինակել է Դորտմունդի «Բորուսիա»-ի կիսապաշտպան Յակուբ Բլաշիկովսկին:

Ռումինիայի ազգային հավաքականն էլ նվազագույն հաշվով հաղթել է Լիտվայի ընտրանուն: Թիմերն առաջին խաղակեսում գոլեր չեն խփել, իսկ հանդիպման միակ գնդակը 65-րդ րոպեին հեղինակել է ռումինական «Ստյաուա»-ի կիսապաշտպան Նիկոլա Կլաուդիո Ստանցիոն:

Աշխարհի առաջնության որակավորման փուլում Հայաստանի ազգային հավաքականի մրցակիցներ Դանիան և Մոնտենեգրոն ընկերական հանդիպումներ կանցկացնեն մարտի 24-ին: Դանիայի հավաքականը սեփական հարկի տակ ուժերը կչափի Իսլանդիայի ընտրանու, իսկ Մոնտենեգրոն մրցակցի հարկի տակ կխաղա Հունաստանի հավաքականի հետ:

Ղազախստանի ազգային թիմը, որը նույնպես Հայաստանի հավաքականի մրցակիցների թվում է, մարտի 26-ին ընկերական հանդիպում կանցկացնի Ադրբեջանի ընտրանու հետ: Իսկ Հայաստանի ազգային հավաքականը մարտի 25-ին Վ. Սարգսյանի անվան Հանրապետական մարզադաշտում կխաղա Բելառուսի ընտրանու դեմ: Հավաքականն արդեն սկսել է խաղին ընդառաջ ուսումնամարզաական հավաքը:
