Հոլիվուդյան աստղերը հաճախ բացի իրենց հիմնական մասնագիտությունից զբաղվում են նաեւ կողմնակի գործարարությամբ:
Նման օրինակները շատ են: Ասենք` Սանդրա Բուլլոկը 1996 թվականին հիմնել է «Fortis Films» կինոընկերությունը: Տասը տարի անց նա ձեռք է բերել նաեւ «Bess Bistro» կոչվող ռեստորանը, որը գտնվում է Տեխասում:
Գեղեցկուհի դերասանուհի Ջեսսիկա Ալբան 2012 թվականին հիմնել է «The Honest Company»-ն, վերջինս զբաղվում է երեխաների համար էկոլոգիապես մաքուր նյութերից խաղալիքներ պատրաստելով:
Ընկերները սերիալը գլխավոր հերոսուհիներից մեկը` Ջենիֆեր Էնիսթոնը 2008 թվականից ի վեր հանդիսանում է «Echo Films» ընկերության համահիմնադիրներից մեկը: 2010 թվականին դերասանուհին սկսել է արտադել կանանց համար նախատեսված օծանելիք, վերջինս կրում է դերասանուհու անունը:
Աշխարհահռչակ դերասան եւ ռեժիսոր Ռոբերտ դե Նիռոյին են պատկանում մի շարք սուշի-ռեստորաններ: Ցանցը կոչվում է «Nobu»: Նման ռեստորաններն աշխարհում 24-ն են: Դե Նիռոյին է պատկանում նաեւ «Ago» արագ սննդի կետը:
Քարդաշյան քույրերը Նյու Յորքում եւ Մայամիում բացել են կանանց հագուստի «Dash» խանութների ցանցը:
Հայտնի ամերիկյան թոք-շոուի հաղորդավարուհին` Օպրա Ուինֆրին, ըստ «Forbes» ամսագրի աշխարհի ամենահարուստ կանանցից մեկը, հանդիսանում է «OWN» հեռուստաընկերության, «О» ամսագրի եւ «Sirius XM Oprah Radio» ռադիոհաղորդման սեփականատերը:
Դերասանուհի Ջեսսիկա Սիմփսոնը թողարկել է «Jessica Simpson Collection» հագուստի շարքը, որի մեջ ներառվում են կոշիկներ, պայուսակներ, լողազգեստներ, ջինսե տաբատմեր, ինչպես նաեւ հագուստ հղիների համար:
Զույգ դերսանուհիներ Մերի Քեյթ Օլսենին եւ Էշլի Օլսենին է պատկանում նորաձեւության «The Row» բրենդը:
Ռեփեր ՋեյԶիին է պատկանում «40/40» գիշերային ակումբը, որը գտնվում է Նյու Յորքում:

Սեքսը մեծ քաղաքում հեռուստասերիալի գլխավոր հերոս, դերասան Կրիս Նոտին է պատկանում նյու յորքյան «The Cutting Room» ակումբը:
