«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է. «Այս տարվա փետրվարի 15-ին` առավոտյան ժամը 07:30-ի սահմաններում, Մաշտոցի պողոտայում վրաերթի էր ենթարկվել ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախկին փոխնախարար, անցած տարվա դեկտեմբերի 19-ից կալանքի տակ գտնվող Վահան Շիրխանյանի կինը՝ Բուրաստան Շիրխանյանը: Տուժածը եւ նրա հարազատները մինչ օրս չեն կարողանում պարզել, թե վրաերթն ինչպես է տեղի ունեցել, չնայած տարածքում առկա են, այսպես կոչված, «կարմիր գծերի» սպասարկման համար նախատեսված տեսախցիկներ:
«Ժողովուրդ»-ի տեղեկություններով՝ Շիրխանյանների ընտանիքի անդամները գրավոր դիմել են քաղաքապետարան` տեսագրության կրկնօրինակը ստանալու համար, սակայն մերժում են ստացել, իբր թե այն խոտանված է:
Իրականում, սակայն, խնդիրն այն է, որ Երեւանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը, ՀՀ ԴԱՀԿ պետ Միհրան Պողոսյանի քեռու` Միքայել Հարությունյանի հետ «կարմիր գծերի» «գործը դրել են» մարդկանցից գումար շորթելու համար: Թվարկվածները տարրական պատասխանատվություն չեն կրում: Պատկերացնո՞ւմ եք` այդ հատվածում որեւէ մեկի ավտոմեքենան էր կայանված ու առեւանգել են, ումի՞ց պետք է պահանջի կայանելու համար գումար վճարած քաղաքացին: Ի դեպ, «Փարքինգ սիթի սերվիս»-ի տնօրենները, երբ նոր էին սկսում գործել, խոստանում էին օգնել հանցագործությունների բացահայտմանը»:
