Ռուսաստանը եւ ԱՄՆ-ը պայմանավորվել են շարունակել գործողությունների համակարգումը Սիրիայում զինադադարն ամրապնդելու եւ դրա խախտումները կասեցնելու համար: Այդ մասին հայտարարել է ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը՝ ամփոփելով պետքարտուղար Ջոն Քերիի հետ կայացած բանակցությունների արդյունքները, տեղեկացնում է«Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով ՌԻԱ Նովոստիին:

«Մեր փոխգործակցության շնորհիվ հաջողվել է լրջորեն առաջ շարժվել սիրիական ճգնաժամի հաղթահարման գործում»,- ասել է Լավրովը:

Իր հերթին Քերին հայտարարել է, որ Մոսկվան ու Վաշինգտոնը միասնական են այն բանի ըմբռնման հարցում, որ Սիրիան կարգավորման արդյունքում պետք է մնա միասնական ու անբաժան: «Մենք բոլորս այստեղ հասկանում ենք, որ կարեւոր է վերջ դնել այդ պատերազմին: Մենք պետք է հասնենք ԴԱԻՇ-ի, «Ան Նուսրայի» եւ ահաբեկչական մյուս խմբավորումների ոչնչացմանը»,- նշել է նա:

«Մենք բոլորս կողմնակից ենք, որ Սիրիան պետք է լինի միասնական, հատվածների չբաժանված, աշխարհիկ երկիր, որտեղ հարգվում եւ պաշտպանվում են փոքրամասնությունների իրավունքները»,- ընդգծել է Քերին:

Մարտի 24-ի երեկոյան Մոսկվայում ավարտվել է Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի եւ ԱՄՆ-ի պետքարտուղար Ջոն Քերիի հանդիպումը: Չորս ժամ տեւած հանդիպմանը մասնակցել են նաեւ Ռուսաստանի նախագահի օգնական Յուրի Ուշակովը, ԱԳ նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը, Մոսկվայում ԱՄՆ-ի դեսպան Ջոն Տեֆտը:
