ՌԴ նախագահի մամուլի խոսնակ Դմիտրի Պեսկովը հայտարարել է, որ Թուրքիայի նախագահի մամուլի քարտուղարի փոխարեն հրաժարական կտար: «Եթե ես լինեի այդ պաշտոնում` հրաժարական կտայի»,- ինչպես փոխանցում է «Արմենպրես»-ը` ТВЦ հեռուստաընկերությանը տված հարցազրույցում նշել է Պեսկով:
Նա ընդգծել է, որ դեռևս կես տարի առաջ ՌԴ-ի և Թուրքիայի հարաբերությունները կարելի էր գնահատել օրինակելի, սակայն տեղի ունեցավ «տեխնածին աղետ»:
Ռուս-թուրքական հարաբերությունները ճգնաժամ են ապրում 2015 թվականի նոյեմբերի 24-ից, երբ թուրքական կործանիչը խոցեց Սիրիայի տարածքում գտնվող ռուսական ռմբակոծիչը: ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինն այդ քայլն անվանել էր «հարված մեջքից»:
