Ինչպես հայտնի է, Սիրիայի կառավարական զորքերը, ռուսական զինված ուժերի աջակցությամբ, վերադարձրել են պատմական Պալմիրա քաղաքի նկատմամբ վերահսկողությունը:

Past.am-ի հարցին՝ շրջադարձային նշանակություն կունենա՞ այդ գործողությունը Սիրիայի համար, արաբագետ Արմեն Պետրոսյանը պատասխանեց, որ դժվար է ասել:

«Պետք է ֆիքսենք, որ պատմական Պալմիրայի ազատագրումն «Իսլամական պետության» դեմ պայքարի ամենախոշոր հաղթանակն էր, որն արձանագրեցին կառավարական ուժերը: Սրանից առաջ, իհարկե, եղել են այլ հաջողություններ ևս, բայց Պալմիրայի նշանակությունն ամենահնչեղն էր և հնչեղ էր մի քանի տեսանկյունից. առաջինը՝ քարոզչական և հոգեբանական տեսանկյունից, քանի որ, ինչպես ականատես ենք լինում, ամբողջ աշխարհն է խոսում այս մասին:

Բայց շատ ավելի կարևոր գործողություններ են սպասվում ԻՊ-ի դեմ պայքարի այլ ուղղությամբ, մասնավորապես դեպի ավելի արևելք՝ Դեր Զորը, որը գրավելով՝ վերահսկողություն կլինի Իրաքի հետ սահմանում»,- նշեց արաբագետը:

Արմեն Պետրոսյանի խոսքով՝շրջադարձի մասին կարելի կլինի խոսել այն ժամանակ, երբ կառավարական ուժերը կանգ չառնեն Պալմիրայով:

Մեր զրուցակիցն այս հարցում թերահավատ է: «Կրկնում եմ՝ լուրջ հոգեբանական և քարոզչական նշանակություն ունի այդ գործողությունը, քանի որ հաստատված է հարաբերական հրադադարի ռեժիմ, նաև Սիրիայից դուրս` Ժնևում, ընթանում են բանակցություններ:

Այդ գործընթացների վրա հոգեբանական ազդեցության նպատակ էր հետապնդում Պալմիրայի ազատագրման գործողությունը, այսինքն՝ սրանով Ասադը փորձում է ապահովել դիրքերը և՛ բանակցային սեղանի շուրջ, և՛ ներսիրիական գործընթացներում»,- ասաց Արմեն Պետրոսյանը:
