Վաշինգտոնում բացվում է միջուկային արդյունաբերության միջազգային գագաթնաժողովը

Վաշինգտոնում մարտի 30-ին բացվում է միջուկային արդյունաբերության Nuclear Industry Summit -2016 միջազգային գագաթնաժողովը՝ կազմակերպությունների եւ ճյուղի խոշորագույն ընկերությունների ղեկավարների մասնակցությամբ, տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով ՌԻԱ Նովոստիին:
Մարտի 30-ից մինչեւ ապրիլի 1-ն անցկացվելիք համաժողովի գլխավոր թեմաները կդառնան միջուկային եւ ռադիոակտիվ նյութերի անվտանգ օգտագործման, դրանք պահելու եւ տեղափոխելու, կիբեռսպառնալիքներին հակազդելու խնդիրները եւ արդի աշխարհում միջուկային արդյունաբերության դերը:
Ինչպես սպասվում է, գագաթնաժողովին մասնակցելու համար Վաշինգտոն կժամանեն ընկերությունների շուրջ 350 ղեկավարներ, փորձագետներ եւ ատոմային արդյունաբերության ներկայացուցիչներ: Նրանց թվում են՝ ՄԱԳԱՏԷ-ի ղեկավար Յուկիա Ամանոն, որն, ինչպես սպասվում է, ելույթ կունենա գագաթնաժողովի առաջին օրը, Westinghouse ամերիկյան ընկերության, Չինաստանի ազգային ատոմային կորպորացիայի, Հարավային Աֆրիկայի միջուկային էներգիայի կորպորացիայի ղեկավարները եւ ուրիշներ:
Համաժողովը կավարտվի արտոմային արդյունաբերության նվաճումների ցուցահանդեսով:
Ատոմային արդյունաբերության զարգացման հարցերի քննարկումը համընկնում է միջուկային անվտանգության շուրջ գագաթնաժողովին, որը նույն օրերին անցկացվելու է Վաշինգտոնում: Դրան կմասնակցեն հիսունից ավելի պետություններ: Գլխավոր թեման կդառնա միջուկային ահաբեկչության կանխման քննարկումը: Գագաթնաժողովի ծրագիրը կսկսվի մարտի 31-ին պատվիրակությունների ղեկավարությունների ժամանումից հետո, իսկ ելույթների հիմնական մասը կկայանա ապրիլի 1-ին:
Մինչդեռ, ինչպես նշում ց «Ինտերֆաքս»-ը, Սպիտակ տունը հայտարարել է, որ Ռուսաստանը ինքնամեկուսացրել է՝ հրաժարվելով մասնակցել գագաթնաժողովին: Այդ մասին լրագրողներին ասել է ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահի ազգային անվտանգության հարցերով խորհրդականի տեղակալ Բեն Ռոդսը:
«Եթե անկեղծ ասենք, Ռուսաստանը, հրաժարվելով գագաթնաժողովին մասնակցելուց, ինքնամեկուսացնում է»,- ասել է նա, հավելելով, որ դա Մոսկվայի համար «բաց թողնված հնարավորություն է»:
