 ԱՄՆ Հավայա նահանգի կողմից Արցախի անկախությունը ճանաչելը Հայաստան-Արցախ-Սփյուռք համագործակցության կարևոր հաղթանակ է: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց Արցախի նախագահի մամուլի քարտուղար Դավիթ Բաբայանը:

«Արցախի անկախությունը փաստացի ճանաչեց ևս մեկ նահանգ: Մենք նշել ենք, որ Արցախի ճանաչման գործընթացում սպասվում են նոր զարգացումներ, և Հավայա նահանգի կողմից ճանաչումն այդ զարգացումների համատեքստում է: Արցախի ճանաչումն ընթանում է ակտիվ ձևով և այդ գործընթացն անխուսափելի է: Հավայան կարևոր նահանգներից է, կարևոր կազմավորումներից մեկն է: Սա նոր լիցք  է հաղորդելու Արցախի միջազգային ճանաչմանը: Շնորհակալություն ենք հայտնում Հավայայի նահանգի բնակչությանը, իշխանությանը»,-ասաց Դավիթ Բաբայանը:

Նրա խոսքով, շատ կարևոր է Արցախին վերաբերող թեմաների լուսաբանմանն ակտիվություն հաղորդելը: «Մենք պետք է այս ամբողջ գործընթացը լավ լուսաբանենք: Ինչպես գիտեք, մշակել ենք Արցախի ճանաչման բազմաստիճան ռազմավարություն: Սկսում ենք ցածր օղակներից և վերջում դուրս ենք գալու պետական մակարդակ: Պետք է նկատել, որ եթե Արցախը չլիներ ժողովրդավարական պետություն, ապա որևէ մեկը չէր ուզենա նրա հետ հարաբերվեր, առավել ևս ճանաչեր: Սա  շուկայական գործընթաց չէ, մեզ ճանաչում են առանց որևէ դրամական միջոցների ներդրման, այս ամենը պարզապես գաղափարախոսական, բարոյական հարթությունում է»,-հավելեց Դավիթ Բաբայանը:

ԱՄՆ Հավայա նահանգի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատն ընդունել է Արցախի Հանրապետության անկախությունը ճանաչող 167 բանաձևը: Հավայան ԱՄՆյոթերորդ նահանգն է, որը ճանաչել է Արցախի Հանրապետությունը: Մինչ այդ նմանատիպ բանաձևեր ընդունվել էին Կալիֆոռնիայի, Լուիզիանայի, ՌոդԱյլենդի, Մասաչուսեթսի, Մենի, Ջորջիայի օրենսդիր մարմիններում:
