Եգիպտացի Սեյֆ ադ Դին Մուստաֆան, որը մարտի 29-ի առավոտյան առեւանգել Էր EgyptAir ավիաընկերության՝ Ալեքսանդրիայից Կահիրե ուղեւորվող A320 ինքնաթիռը, Լառնակայի օկրուգային դատարանի որոշմամբ ձերբակալվել Է ութ օրով: Այդ մասին հայտնել Է Կիպրոսի լրատվական գործակալությունը: Նրա տվյալներով՝ եգիպտացուն մեղադրանք Է ներկայացվել օդահենության, անօրինականորեն պայթուցիկ նյութեր պահելու, մարդկանց առեւանգելու եւ ահաբեկչության մեջ:
Ավելի վաղ հաղորդվել Է, որ կիպրոսցի քննիչներն արդեն եգիպտացու հարցաքննություն են անցկացրել: Միեւնույն ժամանակ, ինչպես գրում Է Phileleftheros թերթը, Եգիպտոսի անվտանգության ծառայությունների, այդ թվում՝ հետախուզության աշխատակիցներն արդեն ժամանել են Կիպրոս՝ անցկացնելու կասկածյալի սեփական հարցաքննությունը:
EgyptAir ավիաընկերության A320 ինքնաթիռն առեւանգվել Էր մարտի 29-ի առավոտյան Երեւանի ժամանակով ժամը 09:05-ին: Առեւանգողը՝ 59-ամյա եգիպտացի ռեցիդիվիստ Սեյֆ ադ Դին Մուստաֆան, պահանջել Է փոխել երթուղին՝ սպառնալով պայթեցնել իբր իր մարմնին ամրացված մահապարտի գոտին: Ժամը 09:50-ին օդանավը վայրԷջք Է կատարել Կիպրոսի Լառնակա քաղաքի օդանավակայանում: Դրանից քիչ անց ուղեւորների մեծ մասն ազատ Է արձակվել առեւանգողի կողմից: Մի քանի ժամից նա բաց Է թողել մնացած պատանդներին՝ մի քանի օտարերկրացիների եւ եգիպտացիներից բաղկացած անձնակազմին, իսկ ինքը կամավոր հանձնվել Ô · Կիպրոսի ոստիկանությանը, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
