ՌԴ նախագահի մամուլի քարտուղար Դմիտրի Պեսկովը Վաշինգտոնի միջուկային գագաթնաժողովին երկրի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի՝ չմասնակցելը բացատրել Է այդ թեմատիկայի շուրջ նախնական պատրաստության ընթացքում փոխգործակցության դեֆիցիտով, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով ՌԻԱ Նովոստիին:&n bsp;
Միջուկային անվտանգությանը նվիրված գագաթնաժողովը Վաշինգտոնում կանցկացվի մարտի 31-ից ապրիլի 1-ը:
«Միջուկային անվտանգության հարցը խիստ հրատապ Է, դրա հետ մեկտեղ Մոսկվայում կարծում են, որ միջուկային անվտանգության հետ կապված հարցերի մշակումը պահանջում Է ընդհանուր ու համատեղ ջանքեր, ինչպես նաեւ փոխադարձ շահերի ու դիրքորոշումների հաշվառում Է պահանջում նախնական աշխատանքի ընթացքում»:
Գագաթնաժողովի հարցերի եւ թեմատիկայի նախնական մշակման ընթացքում փոխգործակցության որոշակի դեֆիցիտ մենք ունեցել ենք, ուստի տվյալ դեպքում ռուսական կողմի մասնակցություն տեղի չի ունենում»,-ասել Է Պեսկովը, պատասխանելով լրագրողների այն հարցին, թե ինչու ՌԴ-ի բարձրաստիճան ներկայացուցիչները չեն մասնակցում գագաթնաժողովին»:
