Արևմտյան ԶԼՄ-ները գրում են Վլադիմիր Պուտինի անձնական կյանքի մասին, ավելի կոնկրետ՝ նրա հնարավոր սիրավեպի մասին՝ մեդիամագնատ Ռուպերտ Մերդոկի նախկին կին Վենդի Դենգի հետ: Այս մասին հայտնում է Spletnik.ru-ն: «Us Weekly» թերթն այս պատմությունը ներկայացնում է որպես «խոսակցություն, որը շրջանառվում է կառավարությունների միջացքներում՝ Վաշինգտոնից մինչև Եվրոպա և Ասիա»:
Ինչպես նշվում է հոդվածում, Դենգը և Պուտինը հանդիպում են և «նրանց մոտ ամեն ինչ լուրջ է»: Այս խոսակցությունները չեն դադարում քննարկվել արդեն մի քանի տարի: Իբրև թե լուրերը պտտվում էին դեռևս այն ժամանակվանից, երբ սկզբից Դենգը, իսկ հետո Պուտինը հայտարարեցին իրենց բաժանվելու մասին:
Նույն հոդվածում հիշեցվում են նաև ՌԴ նախագահի և մարմնամարզիկ Ալինա Կաբաևայի հարաբերությունների մասին երկարատև շրջանառվող խոսակցությունները: Չնայած մամուլի ներկայացուցիչներին չի հաջողվել նրանց «բռնեցնել» միասին, սակայն հաղորդվում է, որ Մերդոկի նախկին կնոջը տեսել են Ռոման Աբրամովիչի զբոսանավում, իսկ Աբրամովիչը Պուտինի ընկերն է, և նա հունվարին նրան 35 միլիոն դոլար արժողությամբ զբոսանավ է նվիրել:
