 Թալիշում տարեց մարդկանց վայրագաբար սպանությունն ադրբեջանական զորամիավորումների կողմից միանշանակ ռազմական հանցագործություն է, որի մասին շատ հստակ գրված է միջազգային իրավունքում: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում այս մասին հայտարարեց քաղաքագետ Նարեկ Գալստյանը: «Ես կարծում եմ, որ գործողությունների ավարտից հետո անպայմանորեն այդ բոլոր փաստերը կհավաքվեն, կգրանցվեն ու դրա վերաբերյալ մեր կողմը համապատասխան միջազգային ատյաններին հայց կներկայացնի, որպեսզի Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունը պատասխանատվության կանչվի»,-ասաց քաղաքագետը:

Մանրամասնելով նշյալ գործընթացը` Նարեկ Գալստյանը հայտնեց, որ կան միջազգային դատական ատյաններ, որոնք մասնագիտացած են պատերազմի ժամանակ կատարված հանցագործությունների ուսումնասիրմամբ և համապատասխան մարդկանց դատելով, այդ թվում`հետմահու: «Գործընթացը բավականաչափ բարդ է, պետք է պետությունը հայց ներկայացնի համապատասխան ատյաններին: Ինչպես սովորական դատական գործընթացների ժամանակ, այս դեպքում ևս պետք է ուսումնասիրվեն փաստերը և, եթե դրանք բավարար են, ընթացք տրվի գործին, ինչը բավականաչափ կձգձգվի: Ամեն դեպքում դա մեզ չի խանգարի, որպեսզի «սկսենք այդպիսի գործընթաց»,-ավելացրեց նա:

Ինչ վերաբերում է Արցախն իր տարածքում տեսնելու Ադրբեջանի ապարդյուն նկրտումներին, ապա Նարեկ Գալստյանը նկատեց, որ այդ հարցը քննարկման ենթակա չէ, իսկ այսպիսի դեպքերն էլ գալիս են ևս մեկ անգամ վերահաստատելու, որ անհնար է պատկերացնել հայի գոյությունն իրենց հասարակության ներսում: «Արցախի` Ադրբեջանի մաս լինելու հարցը վաղուց պարզ է, որ անհնար է: Ոչ միայն նրա համար, որ այն Ադրբեջանի կազմում չէ, այլ ընդհանրապես մենք նրանց գործողություններից տեսնում ենք, որ իրենք և մենք անհամատեղելի ենք մի հասարակության ներսում և վերջ»,-եզրափակեց քա ղքագետը:

Ադրբեջանական զորամիավորումները ապրիլի 2-ին գյուղում գնդակահարել են Թալիշի բնակիչ Վալերա Խալափյանին և նրա կնոջը՝ Ռազմելային, կտրել նրանց ականջները։ Նրանք գնդակահարել են նաեւ 1924 թվականին ծնված Մարուսյա Խալափյանին: Թալիշը գտնվում է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հյուսիսարևելյան սահմանին:
