ՀՀԿ փոխնախագահ Արմեն Աշոտյանը Բրյուսել է մեկնել: «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ` այս մասին Աշոտյանը գրել է ֆեյսբուքի իր էջում: «Այս առավոտ մեկնել եմ Բրյուսել, որտեղ մի շարք քաղաքականհարցեր և հանդիպումներ ունեմ` վերջին իրադարձությունների համատեքստում։

Ապրիլի 1-ի լույս 2-ի գիշերը և առավոտյան Ադրբեջանը ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանականհակամարտ զորքերի շփման գծի ողջ երկայնքով ձեռնարկել է լայնածավալնախահարձակ գործողություններ, որոնց ընթացքում հրթիռահրետանայինարկակոծման են ենթարկվել ոչ միայն հայկական զինուժի պաշտպանական դիրքերը,այլև խաղաղ բնակավայրերը: Ադրբեջանական զինուժի կողմից ապրիլի 2-ին ժամը08:30-իսահմաններում Մարտունու պաշտպանական ուղղությամբ ՄՄ-21 («Գրադ»)կայանքից իրականացված հրթիռահրետակոծության հետևանքով սպանվել է 12-ամյաՎաղինակ Թաթուլի Գրիգորյանը, ևս երկու երեխա վիրավորվել են: Ավելի ուշՍտեփանակերտի հիվանդ անոց է տեղափոխվել ևս չորս վիրավոր քաղաքացիականանձ: Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Պաշտպանության բանակի՝ ժամանակին ևարհեստավարժ գործողությունների շնորհիվ հնարավոր է եղել իրավիճակը վերցնելվերահսկողության տակ և զգալի կորուստներ հասցնել հակառակորդին. ապրիլի 1-իլույս 2-ի գիշերը և օրվա ընթացքում տեղի ունեցած մարտական գործողություններիընթացքում ադրբեջանական զինուժը տվել է 200-ից ավելի կորուստ: Շարքից հանվելէ, ընդհանուր առմամբ, թշնամական 18 տանկ, մեկ «Գրադ» կայանք: Հայկական կողմն ունի 18 զոհ և մոտ 37 վիրավոր: Առաջնային գծի հարավային ուղղությամբ ապրիլի 3-ին ժամը 06:00-ից սկսած, հակառակորդը հրթիռահրետանային միջոցների և զրահատեխնիկայի կիրառմամբ շարունակել է ագրեսիվ ռազմականգործողությունների վարումը: ՊԲ ստորաբաժանումներն անցել են հակազդիչ գործողությունների և Թալիշի ուղղությամբ տիրել նախօրյակին ադրբեջանական ուժերիկողմից գրավված մարտավարական կարևոր նշանակության հենակետին:
