Գերմանահայկական ֆորումի նախագահ, Գերմանիայի Բունդեսթագի քրիստոնեադեմոկրատական միության պատգամավոր Ալբերտ Վայլերը խորը մտահոգություն է հայտնել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում ռազմական իրավիճակի սրման կապակցությամբ:Գերմանիայում իշխող կուսակցության պատգամավորը խստորեն դատապարտել է Ադրբեջանի հարձակումները Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի նկատմամբ:

«Ցավալի է, որ այդ ընթացքում հարձակման է ենթարկվել Ղարաբաղի քաղաքացիական բնակչությունը, այդ թվում՝ սպանվել է 12-ամյա երեխա է: Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի եւ Ադրբեջանի շփման գծում ռազմական իրավիճակի սրումը ցույց է տալիս, որ զինադադարի համաձայնությունը չի հարգվում: Ադրբեջանն, այսպիսով, արհամարհում է Մինսկի խմբի շրջանակներում ընթացող խաղաղության գործընթացը: Բացի այդ, ինձ համար շատ ցավալի է, որ ադրբեջանական ագրեսիան պաշտպանվում է Թուրքիայի ղեկավարության կողմից»,- շեշտել է Ալբերտ Վայլերը:

Գերմանացի պատգամավորը կոչ է արել անհապաղ դադարեցնել ռազմական գործողությունները` հարգելով զինադադարի ռեժիմը: «Այս հակամարտությունը կարող է միայն խաղաղ լուծում ունենալ, ինչից ելնելով ես միանում եմ մեր արտաքին գործերի նախարար Շտայնմայերի կոչին` վերադառնալու Մինսկի խմբի շրջանակներում ընթացող բանակցություններին: Այս աշխատանքում համանախագահները վայելում են մեր լիակատար աջակցությունը: Հուսով եմ, որ մեր կառավարությունը կկարողանա օգտագործել ԵԱՀԿ-ում գերմանական նախագահությունը՝ հակամարտության կողմերի միջև խաղաղ երկխոսություն ապահ ովելու համար: Այս թեման ինձ շատ հոգեհարազատ է. ես արդեն եղել եմ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում` հնարավորություն ունենալով տեղում դիտարկելու իրավիճակը: Բազմիցս շեշտել եմ, որ այս երկրում ժողովրդավարական զարգացումները պետք է աջակցություն ստանան. բռնությունը որեւէ դեպքում լուծում չէ: Այս դժվար ժամերին իմ մտքերը երկու կողմերի զոհերի եւ նրանց ընտանիքների հետ են»,- նշել է Վայլերը:
