Ըստ շրջանառվող լուրերի` ԱԺ աշխատակազմում գումար են հավաքում Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետությանն աջակցելու համար: Լուրերի իսկությունը ճշտելու համար փորձեցինք զրուցել ԱԺ հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչության պետ Արսեն Բաբայանի հետ:

- Պարոն Բաբայան, լուրեր են շրջանառվում, որ ԱԺաշխատակազմում գումար են հավաքում Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետությանն աջակցելու համար։ Ճի՞շտ են արդյոք լուրերը։

- Այո´, ճիշտ են, ԱԺ աշխատակազմի անդամները, որպես քաղաքացիական պարտք, որոշել են իրենց ուժերի սահմաններում աջակցություն ցուցաբերել: Այս պահին դրանք ֆինանսական են։

- Իսկ ինչպե՞ս է կազմակերպվում դրամահավաքը և որքա՞ն գումար է հավաքվել։

- Գումարը հավաքվում է կամավորության սկզբունքով, չկա որևէ նվազագույն կամ առավելագույն սահման։ Անգամ չգիտենք, թե ով որքան գումար է հատկացրել։ Ինչ վերաբերում է հավաքված գումարի չափին, ապա նպատակահարմար չեմ համարում թիվը հրապարակել։

- Իսկ պատգամավորները մասնակցո՞ւմ են այդ ամենին։

- Իհարկե´, պատգամավորներն էլ իրենց հերթին են աջակցություն ցուցաբերում։ Կրկին կամավորությամբ և առանց սահմանափակումների։

- Այնուամենայնիվ, վստահ ենք, որ եղել են խոշոր հանգանակություններ։ Պետք է խնդրեմ` գոնե մեկ այդպիսի օրինակ հայտնեք։

- Գիտեք, ընդհանուր առմամբ զերծ կմնամ թվեր հրապարակելուց։ Հատկապես պատգամավորների դեպքում չեմ կարող որևէ թիվ ասել։ Միայն որպես օրինակ, քանի որ պնդում եք, կարող եմ հայտնել, որ ԱԺ աշխատակազմի ղեկավար Հրայր Թովմասյանի ընտանիքը 2000 ԱՄՆ դոլար է նվիրաբերել, ինչպես նաև Արցախի բանակին է նվիրել իր ընտանիքին պատկանող ամենագնաց մեքենան։ Սրա մասին էլ տեղյակ եմ, քանի որ ինքս եմ փոխանցումն արել պարոն Թովմասյանի անունով։
