Միջազգային բոլոր ԶԼՄ-ները վերջին օրերին մեկնաբանել են շփման գծում իրականացվող գործողություններն ու ներկայացրել իրական ագրեսորին և պաշտպանվողին: Ապրիլի 7-ին ասուլիսի ժամանակ նման համոզմունք է հայտնել  «Արծիվ- մահապարտներ» զորագնդիի ազատամարտիկ, ամենատարեց մահապարտ Սպարտակ Մաթևոսյանը: 77 տարեկանում Մաթևոսյանը պատրաստվում է վերադառնալ մարտի դաշտ, քանի որ համարում է, որ գործը կիսատ է մնացել: «Դրա պատճառով թուրքերն անընդհատ կարող են կրկնել իրենց հարձակումները»,- մեկնաբանեց ազատամարտիկը՝ համոզմունք հայտնելով, որ հրադադարը միանշանական կրում է ժամանակավոր բնույթ: Իր խոսքում նա նշում է, որ համակարծիք է Արմեն Ռոստոմյանի հետ, թե Բաքվին կսթափեցնի միայն կապիտուլյացիոն զինադադարը: «Ադրբեջանի հետևում կանգնած էԹուրքիան, բոլոր հորդորները գալիս են այնտեղից: Դրանք ահաբեկչություն իրականցնող երկրներ են, ևգերտերությունները Արևմուտքի հետ միասին աչք ենփակում դրա վրա»,- ընդգծեց մահապարտը: Նա նաև հավելեց, որ Թուրքիան հակաահաբեկչական կոալիցիայի անդամ երկրներից է, իսկ ԱՄՆ-ն զինում է թե Թուրքիան, թե Ադրբեջանը:

Անդրադառնալով նաև կամավորագրվող երիտասարդ աղջիկներին ՝ Մաթևոսյանն ասաց, որ շատերը, համալսարանը դեռ չավարտած, խնդրում են նրան թույլ տալ միանալ: «Հայրենիքի պաշտպանության հարցում կանանց և տղամարդկանց միջև հիմա տարբերություն չկա: Նախորդ գոյամարտի և այսօրվա միջև տարբերությունն այն է, որ հայության ոգին ու պայքարելու ձգտումն ավելի են ուժեղացել»,- ավելացրեց մահապարտ ազատամարտիկը:
