Ավստրիայի Կանաչների կուսակցության արտաքին հարցերով մամուլի քարտուղար Տանյա Վինդբյուխլերը երկրի արտգործնախարար Կուրցին հայտարարությամբ կոչ է արել հանդես գալ անհապաղ միջնորդությամբ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորման ուղղությամբ և ակտիվորեն աջակցել խաղաղ գործընթացին:
«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ հայտարարությունում նշված է. «Եթե Ավստրիայի կառավարությունն իր համար կարևորում է սևծովյան տարածաշրջանը, ապա այն պետք է նաև պատրաստ լինի հատուկ միջնորդի դեր ստանձնել խաղաղությանը հասնելու համար:
Այժմ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խումբը պետք է շուտափույթ կերպով հրավիրել Վիեննա և միասին աշխատանքներ տանել լուծումներ գտնելու ուղղությամբ, մինչդեռ Ավստրիան պետք է աջակցի Խմբի միջնորդական առաքելությանը: Կարևոր է, որպեսզի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը պատանդ չդառնա Ռուսաստանի եւ Թուրքիայի միջև առկա հակամարտությանը: Այդ իսկ պատճառով ԵԱՀԿ-ն համապատասխանում է միջնորդի դերին: Նախկինում տարածաշրջանում խաղաղություն պահպանելու լուծումներն առաջարկվել են հենց այս շրջանակներում: Եվ քննարկումները անհրաժեշտ է շարունակել: Առաջնային նպատակը պետք է լինի հրադադարի ռեժիմ ի պահպանումը: Անշուշտ, կարևոր է նաև շարունակել տարածաշրջանում հարատև խաղաղությանն ուղղված գործընթացը, որը պետք է հանգեցնի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ճանաչմանը, ինչը տարիներ շարունակ պահանջում է Հայաստանը»։
