Հայաստանի և Ռուսաստանի վարչապետների բանակցությունների գլխավոր թեման Հայաստանի և Ռուսաստանի առևտրատնտեսական կապերին վերաբերող հարցերն են եղել: «Չնայած համաշխարհային ոչ բարենպաստ միջավայրին, մեզ մոտ համագործակցության ոչ վատ դինամիկա կա: Ռուսաստանը շարունակում է մնալ Հայաստանի արտաքին առևտրատնտեսական հիմնական գործընկերը: Առևտրաշրջանառության ծավալն ավելի քան 1 մլրդ 250 հազար դոլար է կազմում, անկումը պայմանավորված է մեր ե րկրների միջև շրջանառվող ապրանքների գների տատանումով, այլ ոչ թե ֆիզիկական ծավալների նվազեցմամբ, որն ավելի կարևոր է»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ՀՀ վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանի հետ համատեղ ասուլիսում այդ մասին նշեց ՌԴ կառավարության ղեկավար Դմիտրի Մեդվեդևը:
Նրա խոսքով՝ ռուսական կապիտալի ընդհանուր ծավալն, ինչպես նախկինում, մնում է նույնը` 4 մլրդ դոլարի սահմաններում: Հայաստանում գործում է ռուսական կապիտալով 1300 ձեռնարկություն: ՌԴ վարչապետը կարծիք հայտնեց, որ դա դրական է, սակայն ամենևին էլ առավելագույնը չէ:
«Հենց նոր ստորագրվեցին համագործակցության զարգացման վերաբերյալ մի շարք փաստաթղթեր, որոնց մասին իմ գործընկերն ասաց: Դրանք վերաբերում են այնպիսի ոլորտներին, ինչպիսիք են՝ տիեզերական տարածության հետազոտման և օգտագործման, բնակկոմունալ տնտեսության, բնապահպանության, առողջասանիտարական հսկողության և միջտարածաշրջանային համագործակցությանը: Նաև մենք պայմանավորվեցինք էներգետիկ ոլորտի հարցերի շուրջ, այդ թվում՝ գազի առաքման մասով, ինչը չափազանց կարևոր է Հայաստանում էլեկտրաօգտագործման սպառման կայունության ապահովման, ինչպես նաև ընդհանրապես Հայաստանի զարգացման համար»,- ասաց Մեդվեդևը:
Միաժամանակ, նա հիշեցրեց, որ սկսվել է Հայաստանի ատոմակայանի շահագործման ժամկետի երկարաձգման ծրագրի իրականացումը: Ըստ նրա՝ սովորաբար այդ ծրագրերի իրականացումը երկար է տևում, սակայն ռուսական կողմը Հայաստանում նախատեսում է այդ ծրագիրն իրականացնել 5 տարվա ընթացքում:
«Ընդհանուր առմամբ, մենք գոհ ենք տեղի ունեցած բանակցությունների ընթացքից, վստահ եմ, որ այսօրվա պայմանավորվածությունները կօգնեն ամրապնդել մեր համագործակցությունը, այն ավելի փոխշահավետ և հաջողակ դարձնել: Ռուսաստանը եղել և մնում է Հայաստանի հուսալի գործընկերը և բարեկամը»,- եզրափակեց ՌԴ վարչապետը:
