Ադրբեջանական կողմը ապրիլի 7-ի լույս 8-ի գիշերը կրակել է ՀՀ Տավուշի և Գեղարքունիքի մարզերում տեղակայված դիրքերի ու բնակավայրերի ուղղությամբ: Այս մասին,«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ, տեղեկացնում է ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության մամուլի քարտուղար Արծրուն Հովհաննիսյանը:«Մասնավորապես 120 մմ ականանետից և СПГ-9 տեսակի զենքից գնդակոծվել են Կարմիր, Թթուջուր, Բաղանիս գյուղերը: Բարեբախտաբար, տուժածներ չկան»,-հայտնում է Հովհաննիսյանը:
Ապրիլի 7-ի լույս 8-ի գիշերը ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանականհակամարտ զորքերի շփման գծի ողջ երկայնքով հակառակորդը շարունակել է խախտել կրակի դադարեցման շուրջ ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածությունը, որի ընթացքում կիրառել է ինչպես տարբեր տրամաչափի հրաձգային զինատեսակներ (2000-ից ավելիկրակոց), այնպես էլ 60 միլիմետրանոց ականանետ (2 արկ): Առավել ինտենսիվ խախտումներ են արձանագրվել շփման գոտու հյուսիսային (Թալիշ) ուղղությամբ, որոնց հետևանքով զոհվել էշարքային պայմանագրային, 1983թ. ծնված Հրաչ Սամվելի Մուրադյանը: Կան վիրավորներ: Առաջնագծի մեկ այլ՝ հյուսիսարևե լյան հատվածում, դեռևս լրիվությամբ չպարզված հանգամանքներում, մահացու հրազենային վիրավորում է ստացել 1996թ. ծնված շարքային զինծառայող Գևորգ Աշոտի Մղդեսյանը: Դեպքի մանրամասները պարզելու համար կատարվում է քննություն: ԼՂՀ պաշտպանության նախարարությունը կիսում է կորստյան ծանր վիշտը և իր զորակցությունը հայտնում զոհվածների ընտանիքների անդամներին, հարազատներին և ծառայակիցներին:
