Մհերն էլ էր ձախլիկ, ու մեր դասարանի մաթեմի ուսուցչուհու վստահ պնդումը, թե մենք երկու թիվ իրար չենք կարողանում գումարել, որովհետև ՛՛թարս՛՛ ենք ու ՛՛սխալ՛՛ ձեռքով ենք գրում, իրար հետ էինք կիսում՝ քթի տակ ծիծաղելով ու համոզված լինելով, որ թարսն ու սխալն ինքն ա: Բայց էնքան դա կրկնեց, որ, առհասարակ, դասարանի բոլոր ձախլիկների մոտ խորը կոմպլեքս նստեց, ու էդպես էլ թվերին մոտ չգնացինք: Ես գոնե այլ առարկաները լավ էի սովորում, Մհերը մաքրամաքուր ծույլիկ էր ու դարձել էր ուսուցչական կազմի աչքի գրողը: Էդ նույն դասատուն ասեց մի օր.՛՛ Ես նենց եմ անելու, քեզ էս ընտիր դասարանից հանել տամ՛՛: Արեց:
Մի օր ուժեղ սելավ էր, կորել էի իրենց թաղում: Դիմացս դուրս եկավ, սվիտրը հանեց, հագցրեց ինձ, ինքը մնաց բարակ, սպիտակ մայկայով: Հասցրեց մինչև մեր տան մոտ, հանեց վրայիցս, ինքը տենց թաց հագավ ու գնաց հետ: Մի շաբաթ պառկեց հիվանդ: Ոչ մեկի չպատմեցի: Հետո իմացա, որ ինձ ա սիրում, առհասարակ սուս մնացի: Մինչև էսօր: Երբ դասընկերուհիս գրեց ու տեղյակ պահեց, որ Մհերը զոհվել ա: Առողջական խնդիրներ ա ունեցել, բայց, մեկ ա, գնացել ա: Ոնց որ շորերս էլի աձրևից ջուր դառնար: Մհերն էս անգամ իր սվիտրը հանել ու բոլորիս ա պաշտպանել՝ իրան էլի ու վերջնական զոհ տալով:
