Ապրլի մեկին բոլորորս պատրաստում էինք ժպտալ, նոր անեկդոտներ հորինել, բայց ստահակների պատճառով այն դարձավ տխրության օր: Կարեն Վարդանյանը, ում շատերն էին ճանաչում, չէր մասնակցելու ապրիլի մեկին ու բոլորս ձայն ձայնի տված հիշեցինք Կարենին ու էլ ժպտալու սիրտ չկար: Ու ինչո՞ւ պետք է մահապատիժը վերացվի, ինչո՞ւ գազանաբար մարդու կյանք խլած արարածը պետք է շնչի իմ ու մնացածի բաժին թթվածինը, աշխարհն առանց այն էլ ծանրացել է ստահակների պատճառով, եկեք այն թեթևացնենք:

Ամրիլի մեկը անցավ, ու ապրիլի երկուսին մենք կրկին չէինք կարող ծիծաղել, որովհետև մեր ոխերիմ «բարեկամը» որոշել էր «Կարաբախ Բիզիմդիր» ակցիան իրականացնել, մեր տղերքի շնորհիվ Ալիևը կրկին մնաց առանց Արցախ, բայց մենք կորցրեցինք մեր տղերքին, մեր ախպերներին, այդպես օրերը կիսաքուն և անքուն հասցրեցինք ապրիլի 7-ին:Ու հնչեց .«Շնորհավոր ՄԱՄ ջան-ը», բայց դե բոլորիս մայրերն իրենց որդիների տեղ էին ընդունել մեր տղերքին ու ժպիտ կրկին չկար: Ազգս մեծարեց մայրերին, ազգս մեծարեց մեր զինվորներին: Գիտե՞ք եղան մարդիկ, որ ասացին, որ մեր հարևաններն էլ ունեն մայրեր ու նրանք էլ են այս պահին սգում, այս փաստարկի դեմ ես միայն կարող եմ լռել, բայց երբ տեսնում ես մեր մայրերի տխրությունը, այլևս թքած ես ունենում, որովհետև նրա զավակն էր մեր տխրության պատճառը:

Աշխարհ մի պահ կանգնիր ու առաջ նայիր, ի՞նչ ես դու ուզում ու ո՞ւր ես գնում: «Զենքերի Բարոնը» ֆիլմում մի այսպիսի հատված կա, որտեղ զենք վաճառողն ասում է. «Ես չեմ ուզում, որ գնդակը ինչ-որ մեկին դիպչի, ես հույս ունեմ, որ այն կշեղվի, բայց կարևոր է, որ այն կրակվի»: Հույս ունենանք, որ զենքերից արձակված գնդակները չեն շեղվի ու կհասնեն ստահակների սրտերին:
