Հայաստանի առաջին ռակետ 22-ամյա Անի Ամիրաղյանը 6:0, 6:2 հաշվով հաղթել է իր մրցակցուհուն՝ Մագդալենա Ստոյլկովսկային, սակայն թիմի մյուս ներկայացուցիչ, 17-ամյա Լուսինե Չոբանյանը 3:6, 0:6 հաշվով պարտվել է Կատարինա Մարինկովիկին: Երկու երկրների հավաքականների անդամների մասնակցությամբ զուգախաղում Ամիրաղյան-Անի Սաֆարյան զույգը 2:6, 2:6 հաշվով պարտվել է Մարինկովիկ - Ստոյլկովսկայա զույգին:
