Այս պահին Գյումրու ազատամարտիկների պանթեոնում տեղի է ունենում Ջեբրայիլում նահատակված փոխգնդապետ Ալեքսան Առաքելյանի հուղարկավորությունը: Ալեքսան Առաքելյանին հրաժեշտ տալու են եկել հանրապետության տարբեր վայրերից: Բոլորը սգում են նրա մահը՝ չհամակերպվելով նրա կորստի հետ:
168.am-ի հետ զրույցում Ալեքսան Առաքելյանի հայրը՝ Գևորգ Առաքելյանն ասաց, որ ադրբեջանցիները համաձայնել են փոխգնդապետի դին փոխանակել 18 անդրբեջանցի զինվորի դիակի դիմաց, քանի որ Ալեքսանը հայկական կողմի զոհերից իրենց մոտ գտնվողներից միակն է եղել, որն ունեցել է բարձր՝ փոխգնդապետի կոչում:
Ալեքսան Առաքելյանի դին հայրը՝ Գևորգ Առաքելյանը, դժվարությամբ է ճանաչել, քանի որ այն անճանաչելիորեն խոշտանգված է եղել. որդուն Գևորգը ճանաչել է ձեռքի վրայի սպիից, որն ունեցել է: Ալեքսան Առաքելյանի հետ զոհված մյուս չորս տղաներին հակառակորդը մասնատված է փոխանցել հայկական կողմին:
Այն դաժանությունները, որ իրականացրել է ադրբեջանական կողմը հայ զինվորների դիակների հետ՝ բառերով հնարավոր չէ փոխանցել:
