Եվրախորհրդարանի` ապրիլի 12-ին կայացած  լիագումար նիստում, որում քննարկվել է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հարցը, ԵՄ արտաքին և անվտանգության քաղաքականության հարցերով բարձրագույն հանձնակատար  Ֆեդերիկա Մոգերինին շեշտել է, որ ստատուս-քվոն հակամարտության հարցում ոչ մի տեղ չի տանում, և երկու կողմերը` Հայաստանն ու Ադրբեջանը, պետք է միասին աշխատեն խաղաղ լուծում գտնելու համար:

Horizon Weekly-ի փոխանցմամբ` Մոգերինին հաստատել է նաև Եվրամիության աջակցությունը ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբին, որը միակ միջազգային մարմինն է, որն աշխատում է ԼՂ հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորման համար:

Եվրախորհրդարանի պատգամավորների ճնշող մեծամասնությունը շեշտել է բացառապես խաղաղ լուծում գտնելու անհրաժեշտությունը և կոչ արել Ադրբեջանին ընդունել ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի` հրադադարի խախտումները հետաքննելու անկախ մեխանիզմի  առաջարկները:  

Եվրախորհրդարանի լյուքսեմբուրգցի  անդամ Ֆրենկ Էնգելը հայտարարել է. «Միակ լուծումը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի անկախության ճանաչումն է, քանի որ այսօր Ադրբեջանը ագրեսորն է և ագրեսոր է եղել 24 տարի առաջ և շարունակաբար խախտել է հրադադարը: Բաքուն փառաբանում է դատապարտված մարդասպան Ռամիլ Սաֆարովին և կարծում է, որ  հայերը պետք է վերանան տարածաշրջանից»:

Եվրախորհրդարանի կիպրոսցի պատգամավոր Էլենի Թիոչերսը հաստատել է իր աջակցությունը Հայաստանին և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղին`շեշտելով, որ ԵՄ-ն պետք է պատժամիջոցներ կիրառի Բաքվի նկատմամբ և ճանաչի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի անկախությունը:

Եվրոպական ժողովրդական կուսակցության չեխ պատգամավոր Ստետինան  ընդգծել է այն փաստը, որ Ղարաբաղի Ադրբեջանին են հանձնել Բոլշևիկները, և չաջակցել Հայաստանին՝ նշանակում է ընդունել Խորհրդային ռեժիմի կառավարումը:

Ընդհանուր առմամբ, քննարկման ընթացքում բոլոր եվրապատգամավորները ափսոսանք են հայտնել մարդկային կորուստների համար և կոչ են արել Ադրբեջանին ընդունել վստահության ամրապնդմանն ուղղված ԵԱՀԿ ՄԽ առաջարկները ԼՂ հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորման համար:
