Իսրայելցի մտավորականը դեմ է, որ իր երկիրը զենք վաճառի Ադրբեջանին

Իսրայելցի վիպագիր, խմբագիր, Երուսաղեմի իսրայելագիտության ինստիտուտի հիմնադիր Օրա Ահիմեյրը դեմ է, որ իր երկիրը զենք վաճառի Ադրբեջանին` այն ընդդեմ հայերի օգտագործելու համար: Այս մասին լրագրողների հետ զրույցում Հայաստանի ամերիկյան համալսարանում կազմակերպված «Ցեղասպանություն և գրականություն. իսրայելական և հայկական համեմատական հեռանկարներ ը» թեմայով գիտաժողովի մեկնարկին տեղեկացրեց նա:  

«Ես դեմ եմ դրան: Իսրայելը մեծ քանակությամբ զենք է արտադրում և արտահանում, և ամբողջ աշխարհում է վաճառում: Ինձ համար շատ ցավալի է այն հանգամանքը, որ այդ զենքն Ադրբեջանն օգտագործում է հայերի դեմ»,- նշեց մտավորականը:

Մեր դիտարկմանը` թե ինքը` որպես մտավորական,  արդյո՞ք լծակներ չունի` կոչ անելու իր երկրի կառավարությանը չվաճառել զենք Ադրբեջանին, Օրա Ահիմեյրը պատասխանեց. «Մտավորականների և գրողների զենքը գրիչն է: Եթե նրանք դեմ են ինչ-որ բանի, նրանք գրում են դրա մասին: Մենք չունենք ուղղակի ազդեցություն պետական քաղաքականության վրա: Ես վստահ եմ, որ մտավորականների ձայնը լսելի է, նրանք խոսել են և խոսում են այդ մասին, մարդիկ լսում են դա»:

Օրա Ահիմեյրը վիպագիր է, խմբագիր, Երուսաղեմի իսրայելագիտության ինստիտուտի հիմնադիրն ու նախկին տնօրենը: Ծնվել է 1941 թվականին Երուսաղեմում, ուսումնասիրել հրեական գրականությունն ու պատմությունը: Սկզբում աշխատել է Լոնդոնի Իսրայելի դեսպանատանը, հետո եղել Վաշինգտոնի Իսրայելի դեսպանատան կանանց հարցերով կցորդ և Իսրայելում կանանց կարգավիճակի հարցերով վարչապետի հանձնաժողովի համակարգողը: Նրա նախաձեռնությամբ ստեղծվել են բազմաթիվ գրքեր: Ահիմեյրն ակտիվ գործունեություն է ծավալում հասարակական, մշակութային, կրթական հարցերով զբաղվող հանրային համայնքներում: Նրա` Հայոց ցեղասպանության վերաբերյալ եբրայերեն նոր վեպը լույս կտեսնի այս տարվա հոկտեմբերին:
