Ներկայացնում ենք թերթի առաջնորդողից մի հատված.

«Վերջին երկու շաբաթներին «սահման» արտահայտությունն ամենաշատն է հնչում բոլորի մտքում։ Ուղիղ և փոխաբերական իմաստներով։ Վերջին երկու շաբաթները սահմանը պաշտպանելու հայրենասիրական ու «սահմանը չանցնելու» դավաճանական մոտեցումների պայքարի շաբաթներ են։ Ու որքան ավելի հանդարտվում է իրավիճակն իրական սահմանագծում՝ մեր զինվորների ու հրամանատարների շնորհիվ ու, ցավոք, տասնյակ զոհերի գնով, այնքան ավելի այժմեական է դառնում «սահմանը չանցնելու» հարցը։ Որովհետև կյանքը ցույց է տալիս, որ իրականում «սահմանն անցնողները» քանակով հազարապատիկ ավելի փոքր լինելով սահմանը պաշտպանողներից ու սահմանը պաշտպանելու պատրաստակամություն ունեցողներից, իրականում հազարապատիկ ավելի ազդեցիկ են։ Քանի որ նրանք, առաջին հերթին՝ իշխանության մեջ են ու որոշումներ են կայացնում։ Իշխանության մեջ են ու «սահմանը պաշտպանելու» մասին որոշումներ են կայացնում՝ անցնելով բոլոր սահմանները՝ օրենքի, բարոյականության, ազնվության ու արժանապատվության։

Ու սեփական «տարածքների սահմանները» պահպանելու նպատակով նրանց կայացրած որոշումները կայացվում են՝ ի հաշիվ ազգային, պետական արժանապատվության։ Թվում էր, թե քառօրյա պատերազմը սահմանագիծ էր դառնալու, ամրագրելու էր այն սահմանը, որը չի կարելի անցնել։ Ամրագրելու էր ոչ թե՝ պատերազմը, այլ՝ տասնյակ զինվորները, ովքեր իրենց կյանքի գնով Ադրբեջանին թույլ չտվեցին անցնել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի սահմանը։ Այդպես թվում էր քառօրյա պատերազմի առաջին օրերին։ Ու այդպես թվալով, թվում էր նաև՝ իշխանությունը կգիտակցի, որ անթույլատրելի է պետական սահմանի պաշտպանությունը թողնելով իսկապես հերոս տղաներին՝ պետական շահերի պաշտպանությունը թողնել կասկածելի կենսագրությամբ ու այլ երկրների հանդեպ թուլություն ունեցող դիվանագետներին, ամուսինների բիզնեսների համար «գործ կպցնելուն» զուգահեռ՝ բարձր պաշտոններ զբաղեցնող՝ ավագ սերնդի ու որևէ երկրռւմ դեսպան դառնալու մարմաջով տառապող երիտասարդ սերնդի տիկնանց... Միայն պատերազմի առաջին օրերին էր այդպես թվում, ընդամենը երկու օրը բավական էր, որպեսզի իշխանությունը վերադառնա իր «սովորական ռեժիմին», ինչը ենթադրում է, որ ամեն ինչ պետք է հիմնված լինի «սահմանն անցնելու» սկզբունքի վրա։ Բայց հասարակությունը, որն ունակ եղավ թշնամու ագրեսիայից պաշտպանել պետական սահմանները, կարողանալու է պաշտպանվել նաև «ներքին սահմանների» ոտձգություններից»,–գրում է թերթը։
