Հիմա շատ են խոսում ազգային վերածննդի, զարթոնքի մասին, և, իրոք, վերջին օրերին, հայ ազգը շատ համախմբված է գործում և մտածում: Բայց մի կարևոր հանգամանք կա:
Ազգն իր անելիքն արել է 90ականներին, երբ ազգային միասնության և պայքարի շնորհիվ ծնունդ տվել երկու պետություններին:
Հիմա հերթը ոչ թե հայ մարդունն է, այլ Հայաստանի հանրապետության և Արցախի հանրապետության քաղաքացիները: Եվ, իհարկե, երկու երկրների իշխանություններին, որոնք, եթե այս պատմական պահը բաց թողնեն, թող այլևս ոչ մի հույն հայերի հետ չկապեն:
Գաղտնիքով ասեմ, թե ինչու է քաղաքացիական գիտակցությունն ու վարքն այս պահին շատ կարևոր պետության ամրապնդման համար. որովհետև հասարակությունն ու պետությունն են նույնը, ոչ թե ազգն ու պետությունը: Ազգը նույնանում է մշակույթի հետ, հասարակությունը՝ պետության:
Մենք հարուստ և նախանձելի մշակույթ ունենք, մեզ հիմա պետություն է պետք:
