Երբ հեռացար, մտածում էի, թե ստիպված կլինեմ ինձ մաս առ մաս հավաքել: Բայց հետո հասկացա, որ դու ինձ երբեք էլ չես կոտրել, ընդամենը մի թեթեւ քերծել ես հոգուս մակերեւույթը: Որովհետեւ ես այնքան փխրուն չեմ, որքան այն ժամանակ, երբ հեռացար: Իրականում ես այդքան փխրուն չէի, ուղղակի դու ինձ այդպիսին էիր տեսնում: Քո թողած սպիներն, իհարկե, տեսանելի կլինեն, բայց ես դրանց առանց ցավի եմ նայում:

Երբ հեռացար, զգում էի, թե ինչպես է երջանկությունս հեռանում քեզ հետ: Այժմ գիտեմ, որ ես եմ վերահսկում, թե այն ուր է գնում եւ ում հետ, ոչ թե դու կամ մեկ ուրիշը: Դու կարող ես ինձ երջանիկ դարձնել, երբ քեզ հետ եմ, բայց երբ հեռանում ես ինձնից, պիտի ինքս երջանիկ լինեմ:

Ես կսիրեմ: Եվ ինձ կսիրեն: Քաջություն է անհրաժեշտ ինչ-որ մեկին սեփական բոլոր զգացմունքներդ վստահելու համար, իսկ երբ դա ընկալում են որպես ինքնին հասկանալի մի բան, առաջին բնազդն ինքն իրեն մեղադրելն է: Բայց դու ինձնից հեռացար, որովհետեւ ինքդ այդպես որոշեցիր, ոչ թե որովհետեւ սերն այդքան դաժան է: Ես սիրուն չեմ մեղադրում, որովհետեւ շարունակում եմ ընթանալ նրան ընդառաջ:
