 Կառավարությունը հաստատեց ՀՀ բարձրագույն ուսումնական հաստատությունների 2016/2017 ուսումնական տարվա՝ ըստ մասնագիտությունների, պետության կողմից ուսանողական նպաստների ձևով ուսման վարձի լրիվ փոխհատուցմամբ (անվճար) և ուսման վարձի մասնակի զեղչի կիրառման իրավունքով (վճարովի) առկա ուսուցմամբ բակալավրի ու անընդհատ և ինտեգրացված կրթական ծրագրերով ընդունելության տեղերը:

 ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարար Լևոն Մկրտչյանը նշեց, որ ԿԳՆ-ն կառավարության հաստատման է ներկայացրել  բակալավրի ու անընդհատ և ինտեգրացված կրթական ծրագրերով ուսման վարձի լրիվ փոխհատուցմամբ շուրջ 2580 տեղ, որից 137–ը՝ ՀՀ պետական բյուջեից առանց լրացուցիչ ֆինանսավորման:

Գործադիրը մեկ այլ որոշմամբ հաստատեց ՀՀ 2016/2017 ուսումնական տարվա ասպիրանտուրա ու դոկտորանտուրա ընդունելության տեղերը և առկա ուսուցմամբ ասպիրանտուրա ու դոկտորանտուրա ընդունելության տեղերի բաշխումը:  «2016/2017 ուսումնական տարվա համար նախատեսվում է հատկացնել շուրջ 372 տեղ ասպիրանտական կրթական ծրագրով ուսումնառությունը կազմակերպելու նպատակով, որից 228 տեղ առանց տարկետման իրավունքի և 144 տեղ տարկետման իրավունքով, 95 տեղ օրդինատուրայի կրթական ծրագրով, 12 տեղ ինտերնի կրթական ծրագրով, 13 տեղ դոկտորանտուրայի կրթական ծրագրով: Ըստ հիմնավորման,  հաշվի առնելով բնագիտական և ինժեներական ոլորտի գերակայությունները, կատարվել է տարկետման իրավունքով (առկա) ասպիրանտական կրթական ծրագրով ընդունելության տեղերի ավելացում (2015/16 ուստարում այն կազմել է 140 տեղ) միջպետական համաձայնագրերով հատկացված տեղերի հաշվին»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ասաց Մկրտչյանը:

Առանց տարկետման իրավունքի (հեռակա) ասպիրանտական կրթական ծրագրով ընդունելության տեղերի կրճատումը (2015/16 ուստարում այն կազմել է 239 տեղ) պայմանավորված է ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարությանը հատկացրած հավելյալ 5 ինտերնատուրայի տեղերով:b
