Ռուս խորհրդարանականները հարգեցին Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը

ՌԴ Դաշնային ժողովի Դաշնության խորհրդի պաշտպանության եւ անվտանգության կոմիտեի պատգամավորները Ծիծեռնակաբերդի հուշահամալիրում հարգեցին Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը: «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ` նրանց ուղեկցում էր ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի պաշտպանության, ազգային անվտանգության եւ ներքին գործերի մշտական հանձնաժող ովի նախագահ Կորյուն Նահապետյանը: Օտարերկրյա հյուրերին դիմավորեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտի տնօրեն Հայկ Դեմոյանը և ներկայացրեց հուշահամալիրի ստեղծման պատմությունը: Խորհրդարանականները ծաղիկներ դրեցին անմար կրակի մոտ ու մեկ  րոպե լռությամբ հարգեցին անմեղ զոհերի հիշատակը:

Ռուս խորհրդարանականները շրջեցին թանգարանում, ծանոթացան Օսմանյան կայսրության կողմից հայերի և այլ քրիստոնյաների հանդեպ իրագործած ցեղասպանությանը վկայող ցուցադրությանը: Թանգարան այցելելուց հետո ՌԴ Դաշնային ժողովի Դաշնության խորհրդի պաշտպանության և անվտանգության կոմիտեի նախագահի առաջին տեղակալ Ալեքսանդր Չեկալինը գրառում կատարեց պատվավոր հյուրերի հուշամատյանում:

Ռուս պատգամավորը լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նկատեց, որ ցնցված է թանգարանում իր տեսածից ու լսածից:  «Կատարված դաժանությունը որևէ կերպ չի տեղավորվում մարդկային գիտակցության մեջ, և անհավատալի է, որ նման ոճրագործությունը տեղի է ունեցել ոչ վաղ անցյալում: Որքան շատ պատվիրակություններ ու քաղաքական գործիչներ լինեն այս թանգարանում, այնքան ապագայում չեն կրկնվի նման դաժանությունները և չեն լինի խեղված ճակատագրեր»,-հավելեց Չեկալինը:
