Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը դարձավ ծանրամարտի Եվրոպայի առաջնության բրոնզե մեդալակիր

Նորվեգիայի Ֆյորդե քաղաքում ընթացող ծանրամարտի Եվրոպայի առաջնության տղամարդկանց 105 կգ քաշային կարգի «A» ենթախմբում Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչ 19-ամյա Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը նվաճել է Եվրոպայի առաջնության բրոնզե մեդալը: «Արմենպրես»-ը հայտնում է, որ հայ ծանրորդը ցուցադրել է երկամարտի ընդհանուր 402 կ գ (182+220) արդյունք` մինչև վերջին պահը Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն դառնալու հնարավորությունը պահպանելով:
Պոկում վարժությունում 19-ամյա հայ ծանրորդը նախ իրեն է ենթարկել 182 կգ ծանրաձողը, ապա մոտեցել է 184 կգ ծանրությանը, սակայն այն չի ենթարկվել մարզիկին: Պոկում վարժությունում 3-րդ մոտեցման համար Մարտիրոսյանը պատվիրել է 1 կգ ավելի՝ 185 կգ, սակայն այդ մոտեցումը ևս անհաջող է եղել: Չնայած երկու անհաջող մոտեցումներին՝ Մարտիրոսյանի արդյունքը լավագույնն է եղել «A» ենթախմբում: Այն կարողացել է կրկնել միայն Ռուսաստանի ներկայացուցիչ Ռադիոն Բոչկովը, ով շնորհիվ իր ավելի ցածր անձնական քաշի՝ պոկում վարժությունում գրավել է առաջին տեղը՝ նվաճելով փոքր ոսկ ե մեդալ: Փոքր արծաթե մեդալը բաժին է ընկել Մարտիրոսյանին:
Հրում վարժությունում Մարտիրոսյանի առաջին բարձրացրած քաշը եղել է 215 կգ: Երկրորդ մոտեցման համար հայ դյուցազունը մոտեցել է 220 կգ ծանրաձողին և հաջողությամբ բարձրացրել է այն: Իր 3-րդ մոտեցման համար Մարտիրոսյանը պատվիրել է 225 կգ և ցավալիորեն չի կարողացել գլխավերևում պահել այն՝ մրցակիցներին հնարավորություն տալով իրեն շրջանցել (մինչև այդ նրա արդյունքը լավագույնն էր): Պոկում վարժությունում Մարտիրոսյանն արժանացել է փոքր բրոնզե մեդալի:
Տղամարդկանց 105 կգ քաշային կարգում Մարտիրոսյանի հիմնական մրցակից Լատվիայի ներկայացուցիչ Արթուրս Պլեսնիկսը պոկում վարժությունում հաջողությամբ է ավարտել միայն 3-րդ մոտեցումը՝ բարձրացնելով 177 կգ, իսկ հրում վարժությունում նրա արդյունքը լավագույնն է եղել 226 կգ: Լատվիացին երկրամարտի ընդհանուր 403 կգ (177+226) արդյունքով դարձել է Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն: Մրցաշարում արծաթե մեդալի է տիրացել լեհ Արկադիուս Միչալսկին, ով երկամարտի ընդհանուր 403 կգ (177+226) արդյունք է գրանցել՝ կրկնելով Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն հռչակված Պլեսնիկսի արդյունքը, սակայն սեփական քաշի՝ ավելի բ արձր լինելու պատճառով ստիպված է եղել բավարարվել միայն Եվրոպայի փոխչեմպիոնի կոչմամբ:
