Գարեգին Նժդեհը որդիների և հայրերի պայքարը բնութագրում էր որպես Արարչի ստեղծած մայր բնության օրինաչափություն։ Սովորաբար, այդ պայքարը ներդաշնակ համամասնությամբ բաղկացած է հայրերի բաժին հնացածի ժխտումից և որդիների բաժին նորի հաստատումից: Մինչդեռ մեր իրավիճակում այս համամասնությունը խախտվում է, ինչի պատճառով հայրերի բաժին գործը ոչ միայն մնում է և փոխանցվում որդիներին, այլև ծավալվում է որդիների բաժին նորի հաշվին և զբաղեցնում նրա տեղը՝ նոր ուժ տալով տեսակի ինքնապահպանման: Մեր հայրենիքի արցախյան սահմանագիծը, որն այլևս վերածվել է ճակատի, այս օրերին հենց այդ փիլիսոփայության մեջ է։ Երբ առաջնագծում հանդիպում ես կողք կողքի կանգնած տարբեր սերունդների, հասկանում ես, որ մեր համաժողովրդական պայքարը ոչ թե հայրերից փոխանցվել է որդիներին, այլ ծավալվել, կարծրացել ու ավելի է արժևորվել՝ նոր իմաստ հաղորդելով հայ տեսակին։ Ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմը նախկին ազատամարտիկին դարձրեց զինվոր, իսկ հայոց զինվորին՝ ազատամարտի հերոս։ Պաշտպանական շրջանի առաջնագծի դիրքերից մեկում հայրենիքի հարաբերական անդորրն ու փխրուն խաղաղությունն են հսկում 18-20 ամյա երիասարդ զինվորներն ու 59-ամյա տարեց կամավորականը, 28-ամյա հրամանատարն ու 38-ամյա պայմանագրայինը, 25-ամյա սերժանտն ու 46-ամյա ենթասպան։ Սանկտ Պետերբուրգից ու Կրասնոդարից, իրենց սեփական բիզնեսն ու ընտանիքը թողած, զինվորագրվել ու առաջնագիծ էին հասել երկու երիտասարդ հայորդիներ։ Այս հենակետն ընդհամենը մեկն է այն հարյուրավորներից, որտեղ թագավորում է համազգային ոգին: Սերունդների համերաշխության այս ամրոց-հենակետում մի գաղափար է իշխում՝ «Իմ հայրենիքը մարդկայնորեն այն լավագույնն է, որը կա Հայաստանում»: 
Անվերջ զինվել է հարկավոր. սա է մեր ապրելու բանաձևերից մեկը:
