Դարբնիկում հարազատները, սիրած աղջիկն ու համագյուղացիները 10 օր շարունակ 19-ամյա Ժորայի մասին լուրի էին սպասում։ Ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական շփման գծում տեղի ունեցած մարտերից հետո Ժորա Եսայանը 18 անհետ կորածների թվում էր։ Տղան վերջին անգամ ապրիլի 1-ին էր զանգել ու սովորականի նման հայտնել՝ «դիրքեր ենք բարձրանում, չանհանգստանա'ք»։ Ապրիլի 2-ի վաղ առավոտյան մոր հեռախոսազանգին արդեն ադրբեջաներենով էին պատասխանել։
«Երեխան զանգել ա ամսի 1-ին ժամը 22-ն անց 30 րոպե ու ասել ա՝ «մա՛մ ջան, գնում եմ պոստեր, չանհանգստանա'ք, ամեն ինչ շատ նորմալ ա»: Հետո առավոտյան 7-ին որ զարթնել ա մայրը, զանգել ա հեռախոսով՝ երեխի հետ կապ ունենալու համար, արդեն երեխեն չի վերցրել հեռախոսը, ինչ-որ թուրք ա վերցրել։ Պարզ ա եղել, որ հարձակում ա եղել», - «Ազատության» հետ զրույցում պատմեց Ժորայի մորաքույրը՝ Սուսաննա Գալոյանը:
Տղայի հայրն ու հորեղբայրը Ղարաբաղ էին մեկնել Ժորային գտնելու հույսով: Օրեր անց նրանց հայտնել էին՝ Ջաբրայիլում ծառայող Ժորան զոհվածների թվում է։ Հարազատները լսել են, որ զինվորին սպանել ու խոշտանգել են:
«Մինչև մեր երեխային բերեցին, դաժե երեխայի դեմքն էլ չենք տեսել ինչ վիճակում ա, մենակ իրա հորողբերն ա տեսել նրա վիճակը: Մենք չգիտենք, մեր երեխու դեմքն էլ չենք տեսել՝ 12-13 օր սպասելուց հետո», - ասաց Ժորա Եսայանի հորաքույրը՝ Սոնա Պետրոսյանը:
«Շատ աշխույժ, կյանքով լիքը, ասում էինք՝ «կարող ա՞ քեզ պատվոգիր տան որպես լավ ծառայող», ասում էր՝ «չէ, դո՛ւք պիտի պատվոգիր տաք, որ ինձ պահում են ընդեղ», ինքը շատ աշխույժ տղա ա եղել։ Շատ ռիսկով տղա էր, շատ, դրա համար սենց որ խոսում ենք, ասում ենք, զարմանում ենք՝ ո՞վ ա իրա դեմը դուրս եկել, որ ինքը չի կարացել մի բան անի», - ասաց Ժորայի տատիկը՝ Սոֆյա Գալոյանը: - «Շատ մեծ վիշտ էր, մեր ծնողները, հայ ծնողները ո՞նց պիտի դիմանան էս վշտին, էսքան զոհեր, էսքան բաներ»։
