Shabat.am-ը գրում է.

1. Աֆրիկյան Սվազիլենդում մի քանի տարի առաջ օրենք էր ընդունվել, որն արգելում էր երկրի բոլոր կանանց ներքնազգեստ կրել: Թագավորը կարծում էր, որ այդպիսի օրենքը կանանց կվերադարձնի դեպի իրենց հին ավանդույթները: Օրենքին չհնազանդվելու դեպքում կանանց պատժում են. զինվորները հանում են նրանց վրայից ներքնազգեստն ու մանր կտորների են բաժանում և դա մյուս բնակիչների աչքի առջև: Ի դեպ, Սվազիլենդում օրենք է գործում, համաձայն որի` շրջազգեստները չպետք է ծնկից ներքև լինեն: Այդ դեպքում հարց է առաջանում` զինվորականները ինչպե՞ս են գտնելու «օրինախախտին»:

2. Իտալիայում տարօրինակ օրենք է գործում, հանաձայն որի` Մարիա անունով բոլոր կանանց արգելվում է մարմնավաճառությամբ զբաղվել: Բանն այն է, որ այս անունը Իտալիայում ամենատարածվածներից մեկն է: Իտալացիները կաթոլիկ քրիստոնյաներ են, այդ պատճառով Մարիա անունը նրանց մոտ կապված է Հիսուս Քրիստոսի մոր անվան հետ, և դա է այս օրենքի ընդունման պատճառը: Իտալացիները համարում են, որ Հիսուս Քրիստոսի մոր անունը չի կարելի արատավորել:

3. Սաուդյան Արաբիայում, որը հայտնի է իր խիստ արգելքներով, կանանց արգելվում է փողոցով շրջել առանց արական սեռի բարեկամի ուղեկցության: Սկզբում բնակիչները դա սխալ էին համարում` կապված երկրում տիրող կրոնական և բարոյական պատկերացումների հետ: Բայց երբ արևելյան գաղափարախոսության տարածումը կասկածի տակ դրեց այդ ավանդույթը, կառավարությունն այդ օրենքն ընդունեց սահմանադրորեն:

4. Կորեայի Ժողովրդա-դեմոկրատական Հանրապետությունում յուրաքանչյուր տարիքի կանանց արգելվում է հեծանիվ քշել, նույնիսկ եթե չեն վարում այն և նստած են քշողի ետևում: Կառավարությունը մի անգամ արդեն փորձել է 10 ամսով վերացնել այս օրենքը, բայց կրկին ընդունել է այն` իբր թե հասկանալով, որ այդ օրենքն իրենց երկրի համար ուղղակի անհրաժեշտ է: Օրենքի ընդունման պատճառ է հանդիսացել այն, որ բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներից մեկի աղջիկը հեծանիվով մեքենայի տակ էր ընկել և մահացել:

5. ԱՄՆ-ն միշտ հայտնի է եղել իր տարօրինակ օրենքներով: Ֆլորիդա նահանգում կանանց արգելվում է օրական ավելի քան երեք ափսե ջարդել, ինչպես նաև թռցնել ոչ ավել, քան չորս սպասքի եզր: Օրենքն ընդունվել է այն ժամանակ, երբ նահանգում զարգացած չէր սպասքի պարագաների արտադրությունը: Ներկայումս այդպիսի խնդիրներ չկան, բայց վերացնել այդ և մի շարք այլ օրենքներ ամբողջ Ամերիկայում բավականին դժվար է, քանի որ չկան մեղադրյալներ և հանցագործության ապացույցներ:
