Իր օգտակար հատկությունների շնորհիվ քացախի օգտագործումը անցկացնում կամ կանխում է այնպիսի տհաճ իրավիճակներ, ինչպիսիք են գլխացավերը, հոդացավերը, հոգնածությունը, ճարպակալումը, ավելորդ քաշը, բարակած մազերը, կոտրատվող եղունգները, մաշկային քորը, հիշողության վատացումը, ուշադրության թուլությունը, տեսողության վատացումը, աչքերի հոգնածությունը, շնչարգելությունը չնչին ֆիզիկական աշխատանքի ժամանակ, ատամնացավը, լնդերի բորբոքումը և արյունահոսությունը:

Պարբերաբար օգտագործման դեպքում` քացախի բաղադրության մեջ մտնող օգտակար նյութերի շնորհիվ (մագնեզիում, կալիում, կալցիում, երկաթ, նատրիում, ինչպես նաև` բջջանյութերից` էնիզմա, բետա-կարոտին և այլն) վերանում են գլխի մաշկի հետ կապված խնդիրները, մազերը դառնում են էլաստիկ, փափուկ: Բուժում է նաև թարախաբշտիկների առաջացումը դեմքի մաշկի վրա:

Մազերն ամրացնելու համար հարկավոր է դրանք լվանալուց հետո ցայել խնձորի քացախից պատրաստված լուծույթով:
