Հայ ըմբիշը 3-րդ տեղը գրավեց Սերբիայում՝ հաղթելով թուրք մրցակցին

Սերբիայի Զրենյանին քաղաքում մեկնարկած Օլիմպիական խաղերի վարկանիշային ըմբշամարտի մրցաշարում ապրիլի 16-ին մրցագորգում 3-րդ տեղի համար պայքարում էին Հայաստանի հավաքականի անդամներ, հունահռոմեական ոճի 75 կգ քաշային ըմբիշ Կարապետ Չալյանը և ազատ ոճի 74 կգ քաշային Սուրեն Խաչատրյանը: Թուրքիայի ներկայացուցիչ Էմրա Սուլեյման Կուսի դեմ գոտեմարտում Չալյանին հաջողվել է կենտրոնացված մենամարտել և հաղթել մրցակցին՝ 3-րդ տեղը զբաղեցնելով միջազգային մրցաշարում:
Ազատ ոճային ըմբիշ Սուրեն Խաչատրյանն էլ 74 կգ քաշային կարգում 3-րդ տեղի համար գոտեմարտ է մղել Մակեդոնիայի ներկայացուցչի՝ Ալեքսանդրու Բուրկայի դեմ: Հայ ըմբիշը ցավալիորեն տանուլ է տվել մրցավեճը՝ 3-րդ տեղը զիջելով մրցակցին:
Ապրիլի 17-ին մրցագորգ դուրս կգան 97 կգ քաշային ազատ ոճի ըմբիշ Էդգար Ենոքյանը, ում մրցակիցը որակավորման մրցամարտում կլինի Ռումինիայի ներկայացուցիչ Միխայել Մանեան, և 130 կգ քաշային հունահռոմեական ոճի ըմբիշ Էդգար Խաչատրյանը, ում մրցակիցը հունգարացի Բալինտ Լամն է:
Սերբիայում ընթացող Օլիմպիական խաղերի վարկանիշային մրցաշարում օլիմպիական ուղեգրեր նվաճում են միայն եզրափակչի մասնակիցները, այնպես որ թե՛ Ենոքյանը, թե՛ Խաչատրյանը դեռևս երկար ճանապարհ ունեն անցնելու. երկու ըմբիշներն էլ պայքարը սկսելու են որակավորման փուլից:
