Հազարավոր երիտասարդներ ծունկ խոնարհեցին Սբ Հովհան Օձնեցի Հայրապետի դամբարանին` Աստծուց խաղաղություն և անվտանգություն հայցելով հայ զինվորների և երկրի համար:
«Եվ անհատները, և ազգերը անխուսափելիորեն կորստի են մատնվում, երբ նրանք խզում են իրենց կապը կենդանի Աստծո հետ: Այդպես եղել է միշտ, այդպես է և այսօր: Դատապարտված է այն ազգը, ով հաղորդ չէ Աստծուն, ով չի խոսում իր սրբերի հետ, ով կապ չի պահում անցյալից եկող ժառանգության, ազգային սրբությունների հետ: Անպտուղ է և այն հավատքը, այն եկեղեցին, որ չի երկնում սրբեր, նահատակներ` թե հանուն հավատքի և թե հանուն հայրենիքի: Այս օրերի մեր Արցախ աշխարհի հայկական զինված ուժերի քաջերը 90 և ավելի նահատակներով փաստեցին այդ ճշմարտությունը. Աստծո հետ մեր ունեցած ճշմարիտ կապը: Չնայած մեր անարդարություններին, ապերախտությանը, մեր շուրջբոլոր կատարվող կամայականություններին, ներքին խռովություններին ու անհանգստությանը, երկիրը ներսից քայքայող աղանդավորական տարբեր հոսանքներին ու քաղաքական ասպարեզում աղանդավորական մարտավարությամբ ու հոգեբանությամբ գործողներին, տզրուկի պես ժողովրդի արյունը քամողներին, մենք ունեինք մեր մեջ այն արդարներին, որոնց համար և հանուն նրանց աղոթքի ու գործի, այսօր դեռ կանք և կանգնած ենք: Երբեմն ժողովուրդներին խոր քնից հանելու համար Աստված թույլ է տալիս նրանց կանգնել դժվարությունների և փորձությունների առջև, որպեսզի արթնացնի: Սա գուցե խղճի արթնացման, սթափության և զգոնության ազդակ էր մեր հոգևոր ու պետական, մտավորական այրերին և բոլորիս: Ուստի Սբ Հովհան Օձնեցի հայրապետի բարեխոսությամբ Աստծուց խնդրենք հայ զինվորի անվտանգություն և խաղաղություն մեր երկրի համար, խնդրենք հոգևոր ու մտավոր արթնություն` ամեն տեսակի դժվարություններին դիմակայելու համար, քանզի ձայն բազմաց` ձայն Աստծո»:
