Ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական շփման գծում հրազենային վիրավորումից պայմանագրային զինծառայող, 27-ամյա Էրիկ Բաբայանի գրեթե բոլոր օրգանները վնասվել են: Մայրը՝ Ալվինա Կարապետյանը, ասում է, որ Մարտակերտում ու Թալիշում գրեթե բոլորն են զինվորական, դա է միակ հիմնական աշխատանքը․ - «Ինքը գնաց սովորեց, սերժանտ ա․․․ ընտանիքը պահի, միակ կերակրողն ա»:

 Ծայրահեղ ծանր է նաև Մատաղիսում վիրավորված 18-ամյա Արման Լազգյանի վիճակը: Արմանը Ղարաբաղից զանգահարել է ծնողներին ու խնդրել, որ Երևանում տեսակցեն անդամահատված ոտքով իր վիրավոր ընկերոջը:

Մայրը՝ Գրետա Մովսիսյանը պատմում է, որ չհասցրեցին որդու խնդրանքը կատարել․ դեռ տանից դուրս չեկած տեղեկացել են, որ իրենց որդին նույնպես վիրավորվել է․ - «Եկան, ասացին, որ Արմանին էլ են բերել վերտալյոտով․․․ Էս տասնմեկ օր ա, բոլորս միասին մենակ աղոթում ենք, որ էրեխեքը շուտ ապաքինվեն: Ես անձամբ հավատում եմ, որ պիտի ոտքի կանգնեն»:

Տնտեսագիտական համալսարանում ուսումը կիսատ թողած ժամկետային զինծառայող, 19-ամյա Անդրեյ Վարդումյանի հինգ հոգանոց ընտանիքում միայն հայրն է աշխատում, ով որդու հետ կատարվածի մասին լսելով՝ վերադարձել է արտագնա աշխատանքից:

Անդրեյը վիրավորվել է ապրիլի 3-ին առաջնագծում: Մանրամասներ չի հիշում, բայց չի մոռանում բժիշկների խոսքերը՝ գնդակը կոնքից մտել, մեջքից դուրս է եկել․ - «Դեռ մտածում եմ մենակ քայլելու մասին: Մի քիչ դժվարանում եմ, բայց ոտքերս լավ չեմ զգում: Բայց բժիշկներն ասում են, որ հաստատ քայլելու եմ»:
