«Ազատություն Լևոն Հայրապետյանին» քաղաքացիական նախաձեռնության բաց նամակը՝ Սերժ Սարգսյանին

«Ազատություն Լևոն Հայրապետյանին» քաղաքացիական նախաձեռնությունը բաց նամակ է հղել Սերժ Սարգսյանին Ռուսաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ Լեւոն Հայրապետյանի հարցը քննարկելու խնդրանքով:
Հայաստանում, Արցախում եւ Սփյուռքում ապրող 5000-ից ավելի հայեր իրենց ստորագրությունն են դրել Սերժ Սարգսյանին հասցեագրված բաց նամակի տակ, որում կոչ է արվում ապրիլի 22-ին Երևանում Սերգեյ Լավրովի հետ հանդիպման ընթացքում բարձրացնել Մոսկվայում կալանավորված բարերար Լևոն Հայրապետյանի պատժի տեսակը առողջական վիճակի բերումով փոխելու հարցը: Մասնավորապես, նամակում գրված է հետեւյալը.
«Լևոն Հայրապետյանի առողջական վիճակը վատթարանում է օրավուր, նրան բժշկական անընդմեջ օգնություն է անհրաժեշտ: Առողջական այդպիսի խնդիրներ ունեցող նման հային նման ձևով ստորացնելը նսեմացնում է մեր ողջ ազգը: Մարդ, ով հայ ժողովրդի առաջ նման արժանիքներ ունի, ենթարկվում է նման վերաբերմունքի, իսկ մենք լռում ենք: Եթե Լևոն Հյրապետյանի հետ բանտում մի բան պատահի, դա կլինի մեր ազգային խայտառակությունը: Հարկ է նշել, որ Հայրապետյանը նաև ՀՀ քաղաքացի է, ուստիև մենք պատասխանատու ենք նրա համար ոչ միայն բարոյական, այլեւ իրավական առումով: Այն հիվանդությունների փունջը, որով ներկայումս տառապում է Հայրապետյանը /քաղցկեղ, շաքարային դիաբետ, արյան հիպերտոնիա, հետինսուլտային վիճակ/ թե´ ՌԴ իրավական ակտերով, թե´ զուտ մարդասիրական նկատառումներից ելնելով նրա պատժի տեսակի փոփոխման հիմք է հանդիսանում: Հաշվի առնելով Սերգեյ Լավրովի հետ սպասվող հանդիպումը՝ խնդրում ենք Ձեզ Արցախի սահմագծում ստեղծված իրավիճակին զուգահեռ բարձրացնել նաև Լևոն Հայրապետյանի պատժի տեսակը փոխելու խնդիրը՝ հաշվի առնելով նրա՝ օրեցօր վատթարացող առողջական վիճակը»:
