 ԱՄՆ-ը եւ Սաուդյան Արաբիան հանդես են գալիս Սիրիայի հակամարտությունը քաղաքական ճանապարհով կարգավորելու օգտին եւ համոզված են, որ այդ երկրի նախագահ Բաշար Ասադը պետք է պաշտոնաթող լինի: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել է Սպիտակ տան մամուլի ծառայությունը՝ ամփոփելով Սաուդյան Արաբիայի Սալման բեն Աբդել Ազիզ ալ Սաուդի հետ ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Բարաք Օբամայի՝ Էր Ռիադում կայացած բանակցությունների արդյունքները:

«Նրանք քննարկել են Սիրիայում թշնամական գործողությունների դադարեցման ռեժիմի ամրապնդման ուղիները եւ հավաստել աջակցությունը կառավարման քաղաքական անցմանը առանց Ասադի»,- նշել է մամուլի ծառայությունը: Ըստ նրա տեղեկատվության՝ ԱՄՆ-ի ղեկավարն ընդգծել է «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման դեմ ռազմարշավն ակտիվացնելու անհրաժեշտությունը եւ «ողջունել Սաուդյան Արաբիայի կարեւոր դերը միջազգային կոալիցիայում», որը պայքար է մղում Իրաքի եւ Սիրիայի իսլամիստների դեմ:

ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահը եւ Սաուդյան Արաբիայի միապետը կարծիքներ են փոխանակել տարածաշրջանային հակամարտությունների, մասնավորապես, Եմենի եւ Իրաքի իրադրության շուրջ:

Բացի այդ, նրանք քննարկել են իսրայելա-պաղեստինյան հակամարտությունը, «Իրանի սադրիչ գործողությունները» եւ տարածաշրջանի սոցիալ-քաղաքական իրադրությունը, հաղորդել է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
